An excerpt from LinkedIn using presidential spokesman Hussein Mohammed as the prime example of moral injury and professional deceit.
Moral injury is very important to understand. Once you do, a penny drops and alot of stuff makes sense. In the process, the element of moral judgement gets erased and we can engage in a more dynamic/transformational conversation.
Hussein Mohammed formerly of local broadcast news now works for the present administration. His job is to be the trusted face and voice behind messages filled with confabulations, when NOT if necessary. Kenyans remember him from his past in broadcast news. This is why there's so much sympathy for him given his present messaging. He's a good guy. He does five Salahs. He is good people with Janet Mbugua. Bana, look at how he laid politicians out during interviews. On and on. Time to wake up. The fellow was the most qualified for his current position because of being a trusted face and voice! I've seen offers being made to cater for his PTSD care. The pre-requisite of a consciousness to make a determination of moral injury is fundamental. Time will be the truth teller.
Let me give examples:
When a senior ranking officer instigates, takes part in, covers up a matter that contradicts ethical and professional standards, this causes moral injury to junior and lower ranking officers. When a president and his winning party reinforce and sustain systems of governance which create fear, uncertainty, defeat, impunity and chaos, this causes moral injury to those behind the architecture of the campaign manifesto. When a parent is challenged on their inconsistent behavior and they respond by saying it is their words but not actions that ought to be followed, this causes moral injury on the child. When a politician flexes the privilege of their office to avoid being held accountable in a civil/criminal matter, this causes moral injury to his/her staff and constituents. When a religious leader/institution is exposed for behavior and systems that runs counter to the shared beliefs, moral injury is inflicted on the believers and employees. So why don't those suffering from moral injury just quit?
Conscious action due to moral injury hasn't found value in our society as reason enough to effect individual and systems change. People choose to suffer moral injury as a sacrifice to earning the benefits of their present situation: salary, access, image, privilege, certainty and predictability. Everyone is aware of the choice they are making. Those who are struggling with that truth are engaging in self harm and risky behavior. Those who are now numb to their moral injury are the loudest cheer leaders of individuals and systems that are anti-human.
Francis Gaitho: Kenya's problem is theft, not debt Political commentator Francis Gaitho attributed Kenya's economic challenges to corruption and mismanagement of resources, dismissing the debt burden as a "fallacy".

Was the PLAN to grow the economy and bring in FDI or at least make the NSE more attractive and attract foreign capital?
Was the PLAN to borrow to merely service debt and not build on the existing infrastructure?
Was the PLAN to borrow more locally and crowd out local investment?
Was the PLAN to borrow for obnoxious consumption and to fuel the hustler jet for pointless foreign junkets?
Toxic government propagandists David Ndii Mutahi Ngunyi can’t give you a straight answer.

"Siajaekwa na Wamama K**a Samidoh," Thika Town Mp Aspirant Francis Ng'ang'a Gaitho Controversial politician from Mt Kenya, Francis Ng'ang'a Gaitho, has responded to criticism directed at him for his attack on popular Kikuyu musician Samidoh
Ruto's Plan - A Get Rich Quick Scheme at the expense of Hustlers
David Ndii has finally admitted that Ruto is implementing IMF's Structural Adjustment Programmes.
What are SAPs?
A structural adjustment is a set of economic reforms that a country must adhere to in order to secure a loan from the IMF and/or WorldBank.
Structural adjustments are often a set of economic policies, including:
- Devaluing a nation's currency to reduce balance of payments deficits. Currently Treasury CS Professor Njuguna Ndungu and CBK Governor K**au Thugge have repeatedly stated that they’re acting on behalf of foreign powers to continue devaluing the Kenyan currency.
- Cutting public sector employment, removing subsidies, and other spending to reduce budget deficits.
- Privatizing state-owned enterprises and deregulating state-controlled industries. Like the 90’s parastatal heists of among others, Kenya Airways and Safaricom which was a joint-venture between European thugs and Kenyan political scum, parliament has set in motion a second round of the same Moi-era blueprint.
- Attracting investment by foreign businesses by destroying local enterprises.
- Punitive tax collection measures domestically.
What does this mean?
- During the 2022 campaigns, Ruto said that 'The Plan' would uplift Kenyans from poverty. However, Kenyans are realising that this 'Plan' is Ruto's get rich quick scheme of selling Kenya's sovereignty to exploitative investment by western multinationals.
- Rather than focusing on equitable economic policies that cushion the most vulnerable Kenyans from shocks, Ruto's tax burden is affecting the most poor households. Three words come into mind here: “targeted poverty creation” a European construct designed to keep Africans in a cycle of poverty.
Yet still, some Kenyans continue to say, give him time. Give him more time and we will all be poor!
- Kenya's sovereignty is at risk: Ruto's unquestioning acceptance of external economic prescriptions which ignore local contexts and don't factor in our unique needs and history is most certainly taking this nation back 60 years, when we were colonised by genocidal muzungus.
Justice Chacha Mwita has issued temporary orders stopping the implementation of The Social Health Insurance Fund Act, The Primary Health Care Act and The Digital Health Care Act.
The petitioner is Joseph Enock Aura.
It can be done if people stop sharing scare-mongering content by GoK and exercise your constitutional rights.
The problem is victim-mentality. You want to whine waiting for others to clean your mess.
Let’s talk about the (in)Justice system in Kenya.
Judges and Magistrates spend 80% of the time postponing cases, delaying people who need justice in the name of the colonial style of giving MENTION DATES AFTER MENTION DATES.
We’ve had 60 years of the so-called “independence” yet we are still using the colonial system in court, colonial language which the people pursuing justice don't understand. Go to any court in this country and they post the cause-list where 80% are MENTIONS.
People spend a lot money and time to hear judges and lawyers agree on which date is GOOD between themselves NOT the Date for the person seeking justice. This is a glaring flaw in our justice system, creating a boon for lawyers but eating into the country’s collective productivity.
In some instances, judges and magistrates have law-firms.
Every time a case is postponed by giving a mention date, innocent Kenyans have to pay the lawyers to appear in court on their behalf.
That’s why some notorious Kenyan lawyers take hundreds of cases with no intention of ever winning them. A lawyer will have say five (5) cases per day charging Kshs. 5000 minimum for small cases just to be given a mention date. Multiply 25,000x20 days = 500,000 just appearing for mentions.
Would this circle ever want the cases seen to their logical conclusions? Are they interested in justice or just lining their pockets. Are they interested in wining cases? The law firms are making good money.
The Chief Justice keeps on telling us that we need more judges but for what, just to mention cases? Thousands of Kenyans have gone to court for 5 years plus, only to be given mention date after mention date.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
Legal fees are prescribed in the constitution through the Advocates Remuneration Order, conspicuous because it’s the only career with constitutional pay-protection.
We have seen judges forced to intervene and rule in favor of litigants against the punitive fee’s charged by lawyers, case in point being daughter of Internal Security minister John Michuki.
Now if the high and mighty are complaining about legal fee’s, what about the ordinary mwananchi?
The buck stops with the Chief Justice to steer meaningful and not face-value reforms. Cases should be expedited quickly within stipulated timelines. Judges should also be paid/promoted based on performance targets.

Whereas Kenya’s debt as at December 2012 stood at Kshs. 1.674 trillion and Kenya’s debt after Uhuru’s presidency in December 2022 stood at Kshs. 9.412 trillion;
Whereas KRA collection is Kshs. 1.5 trillion/year equivalent to Kshs. 15trillion in Uhuru’s 10-year presidency;
Add what was borrowed 7 trillion, a Grand Total of roughly Kshs. 22 trillion
Kenyans should start questioning how the Kshs. 24 trillion was spent.
For instance all 47 counties received Kshs. 400billion/year totaling to Kshs. 4 trillion between 2013-2023. There’s no county which can show you a single legacy project with these devolved funds.
If we did 500km of roads in every county 47x500=23500km at the (inflated tenderprenuer) cost Kshs. 70 million/km = Kshs. 1.64 trillion. Meaning that each county would be having tarmac and super-highways all over.
The reason why the Kenya Kwisha regime is not asking these questions is because they also want to steal in the same way.
More than Kshs. 6 trillion can't be accounted for. This money is stashed in American, British, Australian, Swiss and Qatari banks as Kenyans celebrate ’s $1million borehole donation.
The MPigs are silent, the so called opposition is quiet. They are all waiting for their turn to “eat”.
