MISSING PERSONS

These two children SEKEDO MAISIODO (13yr) & KEISHA MAISIODO (1yr) who are residents at Witeithie/Kibute in Juja Sub-County Kiambu were reported missing since Friday 3rd, March, 2024.

Both are girls & were left in the house by their mother, whom upon return after day service to the nation, she didn't find them home.

Reports were made at Witeithie Police station, Juja, Kasarani and Nanyuki police stations. The parent requests all Kenyans with any information on whereabouts or any childrens home that could be hosting them to call 0740854496 or report to any police station.

3 suspected criminals whom had snatched a handbag from a pedestrian near Thika Polysack stage Makongeni along the Garrisa road, were lynched last night near Delta Petrol Station Makongeni by angry mob & their bodies set on fire including a motorbike which were using to commit crimes.

The woman is alleged to have been attacked while awaiting for a vehicle at Polysack area where three men on a motorbike snatched her bag and fled on a motorbike as some people gave chase.

Upon reaching Delta junction, they smashed into an on-coming vehicle that was diverting towards the petrol station and fell off from the bike. Angry mob pounced on them where they killed & set their bodies ablaze, an incident that caused a heavy traffic jam along Thika Garissa road.

A 50-year-old man of Maasai origin who admitted marrying a nine year old girl was sentenced into life imprisonment by Narok Court after he was found guilty of defiling the girl for three years and impregnating her.

Appearing before the Narok Court Senior Resident Magistrate Ms Phyllis Shinyada, the accused Mr Saigulu Ololosereka who faced two counts of defilement and marrying a minor, was also sentenced to three years for the latter offence.

The minor who is now 12yrs, was recently underwent Caeserian operation after she experienced still-birth & is currently recuperating in hospital. While taking plea on January 9, 2023, Mr Ololosereka shocked the court after admitting to have married the girl in 2019 when she was just 9 years as the fourth wife and have been living together since then.

The court however granted him his right to appeal the ruling within 14 days as per the law. The court also issued a warrant of arrest to the girl’s parents who had allegedly subjected to minor to early marriage.

And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
