We're back to normalcy and it's time to get back to business.I take this opportunity to address an issue that we rarely talk about.As Biodigesters & Biogas installers it's wrong to assume that our clients differentiate the two.It's our responsibility as suppliers to advice our clients accordingly.Explain to them the difference in structural design,make & built,purpose and how it works before commencing with other works coz most clients don't know the difference between a BIODIGESTER and a BIOGAS SYSTEM.And those who know,would like to understand how each one of them works.
Lemmie try and break it down for y'all.I've been getting calls & messages from clients asking me whether a biodigester can produce cooking gas?..Yes.It does,but in very low quantities plus there's need for it to be tapped for use in cooking & lighting.

There's a difference between a BIODIGESTER and a BIOGAS SYSTEM.
A BIODIGESTER is an on-site one-time waste management system that breaks down human excretory waste into solidless water & gases which is then disposed into a soakpit or recycled for other uses.Normally,a BIODIGESTER SYSTEM is used to dispose:{Dark water i.e water that has come into contact with faecal matter and Grey water i.e soapy & oily kitchen and bathroom water via the Grease Trap}

A BIOGAS SYSTEM is a source of renewable energy,whereby we use raw materials such as manure(cowdung,chicken waste,pig waste) etc to produce cooking gas and also lighting.
