Godoma Technical Training Institute - GTTI

On May 10th, 2024, the Godoma TTI community came together in a powerful display of solidarity and environmental stewardship. With the support of our Chief Principal and the active participation of our dedicated staff and trainees, we planted 3,240 trees to combat the effects of recurring floods and droughts, recognizing the urgent need for sustainable solutions to the climate crisis.

The event, held at the institute premises, symbolizes our commitment to protecting our environment and supporting communities affected by climate-related disasters. By planting trees, we're not just mitigating the impact of climate change but also fostering resilience and hope for a better future.

Later on, we extended our efforts beyond the institute premises by engaging with the local community, sensitizing them on the importance of tree planting. Recognizing the interconnectedness of environmental issues, we emphasized the role of each individual in contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. Through dialogue and collaboration, we aimed to inspire collective action towards environmental conservation and resilience-building in the face of climate-related challenges.

Thank you to everyone who participated in these outreach activities, further amplifying our impact and spreading awareness within our wider community. Together, we are making strides towards a healthier, more resilient environment for all.

Godoma TTI integrates extracurricular activities into its educational approach to foster talent discovery and enhance learning. Recently, our team proudly represented Godoma at the Coast Region Drama and Music Competitions, and now they are advancing to Nakuru as part of the Coast Region Team. Well done to Team GTTI the achievements!

Godoma Technical Training Institute prioritizes the safety of its students and staff with utmost importance. We recently conducted a successful fire fighting training, aimed at equipping both trainees and staff with essential knowledge on fire risks and procedures. The institute extends its gratitude to the County Government of Kilifi, fire department for providing this crucial training.
