A Palestinian couple in the USA turned their wedding decor into a dua for the oppressed in Falasteen. What a message! To say that we do not cancel our weddings but rather we use them as a tool to remember our Ummah! Every single person invited who sat at the tables made dua for the people of Gaza. They continue to teach us life, values, and hope. This is what resilience looks like on the outside. If every couple does this, we will inevitably be victorious 🤲🏼

The is instrumental in shaping the mind of our Muslim youth. Several of my siblings and friends have attended their summer programs and it set the path for much of their future endeavors. The Quran is never a wrong answer.

May Allah reward my grandmother who reminded me of these verses today. A much needed reminder. Alhamdulillah.

My daughter Maryam who was born with a rare special condition woke up with this expression. Maryam’s expression says it all. It’s what we are all thinking too.

Meet Maryam. She was born with CHILD syndrome and because of her medically complex special needs, she has been falling through the cracks of the education system. And while there is not enough funding to give her more educational resources as an American citizen, our government is differing their funds and supplying 14.8 billion dollars in aid to a foreign country, Israel, to help them continue their war crimes and illegal occupation on innocent Palestinians, who many are children with special needs just like Maryam. Haytham and Hamza Dawood are two boys with cerebral palsy currently in Gaza ( ). Just this morning, their brother who is one of their primary caregivers spent 8 hours in line just to get a few pieces of plain bread to get their family food for the week. That is their food. And America is paying for their starvation. We cannot claim to care about humanity and special needs if we are staying silent when our own government is fueling oppression on innocent children. Years later the government now admits that going into Iraq was a mistake after hundreds of thousands of lives were lost. Without a doubt, years from now the world will say the same. But we have the choice to wake up now and be a means of change before more lives are lost. If America has the power to give 14.8 billion in aid just like that, they surely can address the cracks in their flawed educational system, help the homeless, and so much more. .

All the horrific images made me write this: When the rubble will testify….

8 years ago, the hospital NICU was a home for my daughter Maryam, quite literally. Many doctors thought she had no chance at life, but alhamdulillah with the right support, she overcame the obstacles. As we speak, the children of Gaza are stripped of medical support when it is the very hospitals that are being bombed and demolished to the ground, when the NICUs are running out of resources, and when the hospitals’ power and water are completely shut off. If you are supporting Isra*el’s “right to defend itself”, you are supporting the massacre of vulnerable children. You are robbing babies of a life and potential they could live. You are supporting the cutting off of air into their lungs. You are supporting the stripping away of their oxygen. You are on the wrong side of history. And whether historians write your names in their books or not, know very well that your names are written in the record of God, and He is the best Recorder.

These are the people of Quran who teach us it’s value amidst the most chaotic of circumstances. May Allah bless this woman and make the Quran the means of effortlessly gliding into the highest levels of Jannah 🤲🏼. Ameen.
