So, I've been locked out of my account for the last month or so. I'm still working on IG but I'm finally back here!
We have a GORGEOUS day here in SK so I'm enjoying my yard, sitting on my deck with a cool beverage. I've been spending most of this spring bringing my new yard back from its previous neglected state. I have a long way to go, but I like where it's headed.
This sunshine and hot weather reminded me to pass on some tips. Don't forget that sunscreen! When you are looking for a facial sunscreen, avoid products with silicone, which will cause your creme foundation to slide off your skin. Want to know if your sunscreen contains silicone, just look for ingredients with the ending "cone" (eg. dimethicone). Supergoop is a brand that I use and works well for me. Which ever product you use, protect that beautiful face!

Happy Easter!
He is Risen!
I am spending some much needed family time this Easter Break. I have has a few of you Beautiful people reach out to check on me. Thank-you. I am still here and I am still available for all your color matching and application needs. I still love this product as much as I did the first time I ever used it.
I have taken a social media hiatus these last few months. It has been healthy and it is something I think I will continue. I am giving some thought into how to move forward but would love to focus on meeting ladies in person. I will pop on every now and again to share new tips and updates. I am so very greatfull for all of your support. I wouldn't be here with out any of you.

It's in these cold kind of days, I found a good use for my mask...
Whew, this has been a long week but I think we are all on the other side of C. Rona. She is a houseguest that is not welcome back.
I had a shower, put in something other than pj's and felt like doing my makeup. Getting ready always makes me feel better. Thought I would share a contouring HAC I saw recently. Let me know what you think!

Today's tip,
Even your washer needs to be washed. You might be surprised at the build up in your wash machine. Wash the dispenser, wipe the seals, drain your machine, take out and clean your filter every couple months. Your machine and your clothes will smell so much better.
My machine in my new place has a tub wash feature. I threw 3 dishwasher tabs in the tub and started the cycle. You could also use a regular wash cycle. I was 🤢 with the hair and "gunk" that came out in the water.
Also I learned that tic tacks don't melt.

Hello and Happy New Year!
Since we moved in December and hosted family for Christmas, I feel like I'm just finally settling into our house. With that has some a few home cleaning projects.
Half the flooring in my home is tile. And these grout lines were nasty! 🤢 Cleaning it was so gross and so satisfying at the same time. My kids even wanted to help, that's a win for me. It was an inexpensive cleaning project with some old toothbrushes and bleach based toilet bowl cleaner. I finished off our work with some grout sealer to keep my floors looking great for years to come.

Makeover Monday. Moving edition.
We've finished the marathon of moving into our new home. We had our share of obstacles through the last 2 months of listing to selling but now we are home. And it feels so good.
I want to thank for helping us through this process. She is so professional and kind. And she packs a punch. If you believe in luck, rotten luck is all we seem to have. This beautiful soul got in the trenches for us and battled on our behalf to help us make things happen for our family. The Realtor you chose to represent you makes all the difference. I would choose her over and over again.(Except, I'm never moving again, sorry Cara.) You will not go wrong choosing Cara to represent you.

This was a sentimental weekend for me. I was reminded several times of how fragile and precious life is. We take for granted everyday moments and brush off near misses. Many people said goodbye to my beautiful Auntie that was a beakon of life and love to all who knew her. There were several moments through the last week that gave these nudges. I have hugged my family a little more and made sure they know I love them.
