If this is what Longonot did to me years ago what about Mount Everest?

I've never been bold enough to open up on what MT Longonot did to me,yes I am Mr Road trips and adventure but of all places I've hiked Mt. Longonot still remains Baba Yao.

The journey started with hype from Thika to Mahi mahiu where we enjoyed some ribs and pap Sisi hao Longonot.

Being members of wildlife club we don't pay gate fees.Sisi hao tumeanza kupanda the three Kms stretch to the rim.On my right hand was the frog that I was kissing at the moment 🙈.The crew had Jaydee,Kevo,Fai,Kabechu,Ejidio,Mdee and others.Three Kms up we found Nairobi girls with wigs and swagger laying down in dust.We helped them on their feet and the committee in me was telling me

"huto ni tu softie ona sasa tumelala Kwa vumbi."I did not know I would actually dive in that dust on my way back."

Sisi hao tukafika Kwa rim,going round the rim is 7 km's.We had hiked Menengai crater and Ngong hills in preparation to conquer Mt.Longonot.

We decided to concur the rim iko nini.Up to date I wish I never tried that rim.It looked easy but it was hard so much🤣.

The rim looks flat but there are places you will have to push your self with your Makalio only,tumitaro na tumilima by the time you cover three Kms you are tired.

We found cans of beer on the road with a note"it's fresh,we got tired of carrying them and we can not drink silly."We took one for the road and left the rest.The truth is that even the water bottle that I was carrying had become very heavy.

One Km down the road we sat down and ate to our fill."Kula ubebee Kwa tumbo."Everthing including my t-shirt had become heavy.We placed the remaining food down and wrote a note."Eat,eat,eat, you need energy."If I parted with the queen cakes enyewe nilikuwa nimekaliwa.

We covered another Km and here we met the owners of the free beer.They were group of five men dressed in shorts.They looked wealthy.We stoped by and realised that the group was
