Nobody wins in this deal. Aaron wants to play for the Jets. But the Packers gave him $250 million that is supposed to be over three years. Aaron is not willing to play in Green Bay anymore.
And the Jets don’t want to pay what the Packers want. Personally, I don’t care if I never see Aaron Rodgers under center again. Every year for the last three years he has engaged in drama.
This year it was the Packers have to prove that they want me. Never mind, that he had 50 million reasons to come back.
I will just be glad to see him gone, even if he retires. He was good in his day, but he’s pushing 40, has had two broken collarbone‘s, and a few other injuries.
I’ve been a Packer fan long enough, to see them move away from several quarterbacks. It happens .
Teams move on from quarterbacks, as they age.
