As you are well aware I was cleared by the IEBC for the seat of Governor Laikipia on a Narc Kenya Ticket under the Azimio-La-Umoja Coalition.

Since then, my Running Mate and I have traversed this County and engaged thousands of Laikipians on various issues with the sole aim of selling our agenda and transforming the next County Government.

We have had very positive response from every corner of Laikipia, and at every point, we have been encouraged by the enthusiasm and support of the people and wish to thank them most sincerely and profoundly for their support and encouragement.

Over the last few days, we have carried out extensive discussions with our Party Leader and entire leadership of Azimio-La-Umoja coalition. These consultations have been geared towards the need to form a formidable Azimio front, that will guarantee securing victory both at the Presidential and County level in the forthcoming General Election.

We have come to the conclusion that for the greater Azimo Agenda, and in order to ensure we collectively deliver on this objective, That we cede our quest and yield to the advice of our Party Leader, Hon. Martha Karua, who has tirelessly been working towards a cohesive and formidable Azimio front and leadership.

Indeed, her effort and leadership has significantly shifted the ground and support to Azimio in Laikipia County.

At this point I would like to recognise the support of my very able Running Mate, Nyokabi Njihia, who has singularly brought strength and vigor to our campaign. It has been a privilege and honor to have her as my Running Mate.

I also want to thank most sincerely my family for their unwavering support, patience and prayers. They have been a true pillar in this journey.

For avoidance of doubt, I want to state categorically that we consciously arrived at this decision without any form of coercion, duress or undue influence and will work towards translating this decision to a consolidated vote at the County level.

Lastly, I want to sincerely thank our supporters for their steadfast faith in our ability to lead and transform Laikipia to the County we all desire for ourselves and future generations.

May God bless you abundantly and strengthen us all to keep striving for a better Laikipia.

Through our continued engagement with the people of Laikipia County and stakeholders, my administration agenda on health will be;

- Construction of two new level 4 hospitals at
Rumuruti and Makutano.
- Reinstate doctors and employ others.
- Ensure steady medical supply in the county.
- Integrate IT in health the system.
- Expand NHIF care to vulnerable groups.
- Achieve quality primary healthcare.
- Encourage medical and health tourism as a vital
economic subsector in the county.
