The lady you see here, Maureen is going through alot, being the sole breadwinner of her family since the husband who is diabetic / epileptic became too weak to fend for his family , he was dismissed from his place of work 2yrs ago.
His wife had to look for casual job in a security firm where she earns less than 10k .The husband is always in and out of hospital, she's a mother of 3 the eldest who is a class 5 had to take up her mother's role including nursing his father.
I visited them today and the situation is pathetic , they don't have anything in the house, the man is so weak having been discharged from the hospital yesterday,the woman walks to her place of work daily from Kangemi to Westlands to and fro.
They need support from us, for food hospital bill, anything small will be appreciated be it food or cash....God bless you as you stand with this family.
