Mbitini Ward , Makueni Constituency mourns 🥲.
It's unfortunate that muuoni river bridge at Kavuthu has never got the necessary attention even after series of tragedies. This low laying bridge has been a death trap to the community. Yesterday, a group of residents who are said to have attended an event, on their way back after heavy rains, were swept away by the running waters. Efforts to look for the missing people are on going.
We ask the county Government, lead by our able GovernorMutula Kilonzo Jrr ., area MpHon. Suzanne Ndunge Kiamba OGW and other stakeholders to help in this tragedy and more importantly to make sure that the bridge built to standard.
It's a sad tragedy.
