A little for you today!
The difference between these 2 photos is pretty powerful to me! I think I definitely look better now to 10 years ago!
Throughout my quest for healthy & glowing skin, I've come to realise the immense power of knowledge. The invaluable tips I've acquired along the way have not only revolutionised my complexion but also instilled a newfound sense of confidence within me.

2013

โ๏ธ No SPF (Apart from on Holidays).

Consistent late nights
Barely any exercise
Very unbalanced diet.

2023

โ๏ธ Double Cleansing in the pm (Game-changer!).

โ๏ธ Beauty sleep (7-9 hours). This is when your skin repairs & rejuvenates.
โ๏ธ Not neglecting neck & chest.
โ๏ธ Self-care moments - stress can lead to dull skin & breakouts (I like to meditate, do breathing techniques & go for walks).
โ๏ธ Investing in good quality skincare.
โ๏ธ Eating Superfoods (they're full of antioxidants that promote healthy skin from within).
โ๏ธ Healthier lifestyle habits including:
Balanced diet
Regular exercise
Daily vitamins & antioxidants.
โ๏ธ Avoiding hot water - this strips your skin of its natural oils.

I was sent this PR sample as part of the Sephora Community to test & review.

Secondly, my thoughts on this as I know a lot of you asked me about it!
After dabbing some of this powder only on the right side of my face, the transformation was undeniable & my 3rd photo tells the story! The powder smoothly blurred out imperfections that were pronounced under my eyes, I could hardly believe the difference it made!
However, my skin becomes ridiculously dry in the Winter & I did find through the day that my skin started to look & feel even drier with this on. I couldn't wait to cleanse my face by the time I got home. I think this would suit me better in the Summertime when my skin is more hydrated. This would be a game changer for oily / combo skintypes!
Texture wise, it's feather light & the product applies beautifully leaving your skin looking baby smooth.

Today's AM routine.
My skin is taking a battering at the moment due to the perimenopause. One of the symptoms I'm experiencing is extremely dry, itchy & flaky skin, so I need calming products that will provide lots of moisture & hydration!
In routine order:

Today was my 2nd session with the fabulous Gemma AMOR aesthetics by gemma.
This time she recommended using retinol around my chin area as part of the microneedling treatment, as lately Iโve been having a lot more breakouts.
My skin is naturally prone to redness so the post treatment clip is completely normal & amazingly just 2 hours later all the redness had gone.
I popped to the supermarket straight afterwards hoping I wouldn't see anyone I knew & of course I did! ๐คฃ A lady I've not seen in over a year who stopped for a chat. I said 'Sorry I look a bit of a mess, I've just had a microneedling treatment', her response was 'You don't at all! I was actually admiring your skin thinking how glowy it looks' - WOW! ๐คฉ
