“I just want to cuddle it"🌻
An "awww" moment during last weeks garden therapy session.
This client comment reminds me of why I love sharing the joy of gardening and the happiness it can bring into our lives!
Create a beautiful yet purposeful piece of art!
A mindful, rainy day activity when your therapeutic garden session needs to move indoors....propagating succulent leaves!
Planning is only the first step of an exciting and rewarding journey of edible gardening, which is what students at Salisbury East High School are discovering!
As part of a Therapeutic Horticulture program, besides having fun, students have the opportunity to learn new skills, be active, build confidence, increase social interaction and eat fresh, healthy food from their balcony garden. Can’t wait to watch the students (and plants!) grow through this experience! 🌱
The start of 2 amazing edible gardens in courtyard spaces!
Very excited to be supporting these new gardeners as they explore the benefits of Therapeutic Horticulture in their new food gardens.🪴
How true this quote is!
Two of my favourite things in life are gardening and sharing my love of it. Spending time outdoors… pottering around in the sunshine and soil…what’s not to love? But even better, this love of gardening provides many positive benefits to our health and well-being.
This is what A Seed Once Sown is all about…sharing the love of gardening and supporting others to enjoy fun, purposeful garden activities as part of a garden therapy program.
Our garden therapy programs are suitable for all abilities and backgrounds, with the outcome to improve health and well-being for the body, mind and soul. Programs can be conducted in a variety of environments from schools to aged and dementia care and in NDIS settings.
