"Queen of Hearts" Intuitive Card Readings
Operating Remotely
There's magic in every story:
With the stories I tell in every stanza,
And the guidance with each card I lay down!
I remember taking piano lessons when I was 13 (I have Carmen to thank for giving me lessons during that time, at no cost). I had already learned how to read music from being a part of a choral program in school, so all that was left was technique. At 15, I was able to play an arrangement of "Let It Be" by The Beatles (with a little help from my classmate Matt, whom at the time was one of the coolest musicians my age). The photo of me in an evening gown is the only photo that exists of me ever playing piano (this was from a high school pageant, btw) playing a bit of Jazz, which I was inspired to play from my Chorus teacher Mr. Moore.
This prompt took me down memory lane, and I have .co to thank once again!
While I still stand behind "Spit not being good l**e," when I heard her story, I'm glad that I had the chance to learn more....
Haliey Welch Tells All About 'Nasty' Question That Made Her the 'Hawk Tuah Girl' — and Forced Her into Hiding (Exclusive) Haliey Welch opens up to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview about her life before the "Hawk Tuah" video went viral and how it's changed in the months that followed.
I'm selling the anthologies I've had the honor to be published in as well as Haiku Magnets (to stick on your fridge). All great as gifts to those love "naughty" things and/or enjoy getting straight to the point!
See the link in my Bio!
When I was 0.1 from a tie breaker in a (cash prize) poetry slam, I'm reminded to continue to stay humble & keep writing....
This can be done using Mexican Lotería, so I finally did that with Lotería Remedios Oracle & it's just as relatable!
A special shout-out to Izumi Rein Bowe for the tip! 🃏🎴
While I've been watching things outside of rugby with the Olympics on , Ilona Maher () made a pretty good point after someone commented about her BMI. It reminded me of how much I felt unworthy while I was being raised by my mother (a semi-pro athlete & a "health nut") for being "slightly overweight." While my desire is to get back to dancing, perhaps as a professional, I'm grateful for Ilona clapping back, and for continuing to be her great & fabulous self!
Congrats to Team USA Paris 2024 Olympic Rugby Team for winning the Bronze metal!
It's Lion's Gate, on a triple 8, therefore it's time to elevate!
As some of you already know, I'm a Published Poet. This time, I'm in a Haiku anthology with .co & I'm selling copies of that along with a custom Haiku for you to have in a frame. Check out the link in my Bio for more!
Happy National Ice Cream Day! Have you attempted to shove a popsicle into your mouth to see how much it could take? What was your result?
Stay cool out there & enjoy your sweet dessert(s)!
A thing I've learned about life since turning 18:
'Parents Love Conditionally'
It's my BIRTHDAY!!!! As the well wishes come in, I do want to mention that I have a Linktree (through my profile) for those who feel moved to treat me to something special....

Disappointed in politics for the United States as your jumping in your pool & eating off of the grill (in possibly 100°F record temperatures)? I'll be celebrating my birthday all month long!
If you've wondered where I've been, I've had to take some time to myself....
Even though it's Thursday going into Friday, .co wanted a Haiku about Mondays....
If what you're giving needs to be reciprocated, make sure you negotiated that prior to doing [insert what you plan on giving]!
Happy Pi(e) Day to you & yours! May you enjoy the slice (or whole) that you devour.... 😁🥧😈
A shout-out to .co for this week's Haiku prompt!
Here's a Throwback for this special Tuesday....

Children owe strangers zero when it comes to saying anything, or even a smile. I grew up knowing that it was rude when, in fact can save a child's life. If they do manage to speak kind words to our souls, it's because they want to!
A special shout-out to for the inspiration behind this Haiku....
Christmas is normally bittersweet for me, however this limited (Holiday) series does make me smile! However you celebrate, enjoy your day!
This year has truly been the "Year of the Poets!" I've had the honor of having Virtual stages with those who are pictured since 2021 & I've finally got around to meeting some of these lovely souls in person! I've even had the honor of meeting & seeing in person, which has been one of the highlights of 2023. Oh, I finally went to my 1st poetry festivals, EVER ( )! I'm grateful to know of & have met people who have such kick-ass talent!
Also, this post is in the loving memory of Donna Snyder of El Paso, Texas. She along with encouragement from , , , , & others are one of the main reasons that I continue to poet.
