Part 2-Ash Cave and Cedars Falls Hocking Hills State Park was beautiful! Between all the caves and the water falls and just how peaceful is was I would definitely recommend it!I would say go earlier in the spring as the summer time does get really busy here! You can do most of the trails in 2 days. But if you really wanted to take your time and explore I would say 3-4 days would be perfect!Just be ready for some rough terrain! But it was fun climbing and feeling like a kid again!Being outdoors in nature brings my soul so much peace! Hocking Hills State Park-Logan, Ohio Part 1-Upper falls, lower falls, devils bathtub, Old Man’s Cave and Whispering CavesHocking Hills is truly a beautiful and magical place! This place has been on my travel list for years. It’s definitely worth the trip to Ohio!They have over 10 spots to stop and look at the beautiful falls or the caves! The terrain is definitely on the more difficult side but it’s fun to be adventurous! Face Your Fears Friday 💪🔥What an adventurous day we had in Roatan Islands! It was such an amazing experience ATVing through the mountains of Mahogany Bay! I can say I honestly did not want to do this! I have a fear of hurting myself and I just did not want to experience that in another country.But we had done everything that I wanted to do that trip so I had to let Ron choose something so I said okay I’ll do it!I was hoping that we would be driving on the same ATV together but come to find out we were all driving our own.So now I’m here in another country and I’m stuck driving an ATV by myself. No I have never driven one myself despite my adventurous nature. I truly did not want to go on the trails with them but I didn’t want Ron to feel alone.So I got up the courage and did what I did not think I would do! Come to find out I love ATVing and it’s a total blast and not hard at all! I thought they would have a bunch of gears you needed to change and shifting, but nope! It was just the throttle and that was pretty much it!I was so proud of myself once we got to the top of the mountain! It’s definitely not a feeling I will ever forget!I literally felt on top of the mountain for conquering my fear!I know it’s not easy to get over our fears but sometimes you just have to face them. And then you realize they weren’t as bad as you thought.After that I got to go to a beautiful beach and enjoy more of the island! So how can a girl be mad? I say just do it! Face your fears! Laurel Falls trail in the Great Smoky Mountains was a beautiful hike! And the best thing was at waterfall at the top! The trail itself wasn’t that hard. We aren’t huge hikers because we have no mountainous areas around us.It was such a nice hike with beautiful view points through out. It took about 2 hours total even with the stop at the top to enjoy the waterfall.The trail was right outside of Cades Cove so it’s definitely worth it to do both in one day.
