The ongoing grading,murraming and compacting of Central koibeiyo and Kabomoi kapchepkener feeder roads connecting kabomoi and barsombe tarmac roads is almost done.

I am committed to ensure that all roads are accessible across Karuna/Meibeki ward.

I'm so shocked to learn the demise of former Mca Huruma ward Hon.Lucy Ng'endo Chomba early this morning.
On behalf of the people of Karuna Meibeki ward,I join the Huruma ward fraternity in mourning our departed leader.

Floods have resulted on undesirable outcomes on human and it's environment such as roads, bridges,farms etc,
Therefore Today we engage the assessment of roads and bridges with the ENGINEER of ROADS Mr.Ken Cherono on affected areas such as Kambi Simba,kaplolo,cheplaskei,Kong'nyalil,uswo,kapnasu,seretyo,kabomoi amongst other areas which will resume soon.
In addition to that I urge each and every member to drain water where necessary to avoid running of water along the road which may result on soil erosion.

Yesterday public participation at Upper Kapsiliot gave positive impact towards Further development of Meibeki Water and Upper Kapsiliot water project..UG CEC Water,CO water, Director water,UG water Engineers,Eldowas Engineers,Ward Admin played a major role by showing their positive response to long time problem of water in our region.. It's now a clear proof that the two projects will commence soon..... Great thanks to Chairman Meibeki water and the team for bringing such unity for the Success of the two Projects....Also Great thanks to Mr. Raymond Biwott for your Neutral Support towards the two projects...Also much appreciation to Mr/Mrs Jonathan Kisang for nice hosting of the event.. Unity for purpose can Make Kapsiliot/Meibeki Canaan.....

I together with His Excellency the Governor Jonathan Chelilim bii presided over the the launch of bursary disbursement exercise worth 4million at ward office- Karandili.

Today I hosted Kiambu County Assembly Departmental Committee for Agriculture & Livestock on their paid courtesy visit to Oscar Sudi Farm & Dairies.

Today I got a privilege together with Mp Moiben Hon.Phylis bartoo and held an inspection of the ongoing grading and graveling of the road connecting Karandili-Cheplaskei and Rayfarm.

I am totally convinced a new expanded road will change the economic fortunes of the residents of Karuna/Meibeki Ward.

Let's do the best to achieve the issues we raised and agreed to do together

Today I attended public participation at Kong'nyalil Chief's office and Karandili ward office,thanks residents of karuna/Meibeki for presenting your views and proposals today.

*MEIBEKI WATER PROJECT PUBLIC AWARENESS FORUM*

Today we had consultative meeting with the residents of kapsiliot upper conserning construction of a gravity main pipeline of 6.6 kilometres from chebara dam to the main tank in Kapsiliot is expected to solve the perennial water shortages in the area.

The project will serve quite larger part of Meibeki location including public utilities.
I call residents to attend public participation tomorrow at karandili ward office and kaplolo Chief's office at 9am.

Present were C.c.o of water Elija koech,Director Water Stephen Barno, Area Ward Administrator Obat Tanui, Water Engineers Charles Tonui, Noah Kenenei,Abraham Rotich and Committee lead by Chairman of Meibeki Water Project.

Graveling, grading and compacting of Kapngeny- kaplolo,street-uswo feeder roads is done.

I will make sure that all our feeder roads networking within my ward are improved to reduce the cost of doing business by easily linking farmers to the market and ensuring a tremendous economic transformation to mwanachi.

Later on in the evening I condole with the Family of Philiph Chemase of kabomoi for the loss of their koko Tapkigen kimoi Chemase.May God give you strength during this hard time the family of kapchebtarus at large.

Joined the family of the late kiplimo arap Chepkwony (Chepkoiya) and the community of Kapkures Village kabomoi,during the final send-off of their Son the late Mwalimu David limo who was Deputy Principal at Kipsoen secondary school (Emc).I convey my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the bereaved for the unfortunate loss. May the Lord comfort you during these difficult moments.

Together with H.E Dr.Jonathan Bii, EGH and Dr. Rose N. Mkalama Chief Executive Officer Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation today commissioned the Kaptik electrification project in Karuna/Meibeki ward.

The Corporation has a new Strategic Plan that aims to connect 90% Households in rural areas through electrification of public facilities and installation of transformers and maximisation across the county.

The Governor also opened officially Kaptik ecde.

A team of Hydrologists today conducting a Hydro-geological survey have successfully identified a suitable site for drilling borehole in kambisimba kabuliot primary, Meibeki primary and Sasitwa primary school.The site survey has ascertains significant quantities of ground-water.

More areas to be identified soon.

Earlier today we had a meeting with the residents of kasurur kabomoi village concerning on how they will access clean water.
