*Celebrating a Remarkable Journey: Africa Gospel Church Kigonor*
Nestled in Barut district, Nakuru area, Nakuru region in Nakuru County, Africa Gospel Church Kigonor has been an inspiration of faith and community since its establishment on 02/03/2013 as a daughter church of AGC Kelelwet. What began with just five households has blossomed into a vibrant congregation of about 250 members under the dedicated leadership of Senior Pastor Amos Kirui and Assistant Pastor Rebecca Soy.
Pastor Kirui, a graduate of Kaboson Pastors Training College, reflects on the church's humble beginnings, "We started with one plot, and by the Grace of God, we now have four plots." This remarkable growth is a testament to the unwavering faith and commitment of the church community.
As Africa Gospel Church Kigonor prepares for the official dedication and opening of its newly completed church on the 28/04/2024, we invite you to join in celebrating this milestone. Your support is warmly welcomed through Paybill 247247, Account No. 382089

Mhubiri 9:11

Tena, nimeona kitu kimoja hapa duniani, kwamba wenye mbio hawafaulu katika riadha, wala wenye nguvu hawashindi vita; wenye busara hawapati chakula, wenye akili hawatajiriki, wala wenye ujuzi hawapandi vyeo; lakini wakati wa bahati huwapata wote pamoja.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
Friday, January 19th 2024

_"But if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live."_
Romans 8:13, NIV

TODAY'S WORD:
*Win the War.*

Most people are ruled by the flesh, the carnal nature that basically tells them to live and do whatever they feel rather than what the Holy Spirit says. You’re letting the flesh win the war within if you give in to temptations, laziness, and compromise. The better option is to walk and live in accordance with the Spirit. That means that you do the right thing when it’s hard, you bite your tongue when someone’s rude, you stay faithful in your relationships when someone is trying to lure you away.

What’s limiting some people is not that they’re not talented or don’t have God’s favor; it’s that they keep obeying the flesh. The next time you’re tempted to be jealous, to find fault, to say something critical, or to let a friend cause you to compromise, tell your flesh, “No, I’m not going there.” Quit letting the flesh push you around. You have to take charge of your life. Don’t keep giving in to the same things that you know are holding you back from life in the Spirit.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You that one of the fruits of Your Spirit working in me is the power of self-control. Thank You that I don’t have to be a slave to feelings that have tried to control me for years. I believe that as I say no to the dictates of the flesh, I will reach my highest potential. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Stay put to your faith 💪🙏
Share with all your friends.
Blessed day ahead 🙏🌺🌅

Nothing else matters,
Have your way.
Nothing else matters,
High and Holy Father.
Nothing else matters,
I am yours completely.
Nothing else matters,
Have your way.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

There are six things the Lord hates;
1. Haughty eyes.
2.A lying tongue.
3. Hands that shed innocent blood. 4. A heart that devises wicked schemes.
5. feet that are quick to rush into evil.
6. A false witness who pours out lies

_"…they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes."_ Proverbs 1:31, NIV

TODAY'S WORD:
*Feed Your Destiny.*

Though we may not realize it, we’re always feeding ourselves. What we watch and listen to, the people we’re around, and the thoughts we’re dwelling on are feeding our inner man. If you go to lunch with coworkers who feed you gossip, jealousy, and disrespect, before long you’ll be gossiping, jealous, and critical. Whatever you feed on is going to grow. If you’re always feeding on negative thoughts, thinking, I’ll never get out of debt, or get the job I want, or meet the right person, you’re feeding doubt, fear, and mediocrity.

Start feeding your faith, your hopes, your dreams. Your diet needs to be what God says about you. “I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am a masterpiece made in the image of Almighty God.” When you feed on God’s values, your value will get stronger. Stay on your diet. No more feeding doubt, fear, and offense. No more hanging around the wrong people. Keep feeding your destiny.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

_“Father, thank You for the provision of Your Word and all the nourishment and strength I receive from it. Help me to guard what I’m watching and listening to and to be careful with my relationships. I want to put my energies into my destiny. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”_

Keep feeding on the positives because you're the wonderful creation of God.
Share with all your friends.
Shalom
