A Wiseman once said "There is no great man.There are only helped men."Indeed wherever we find ourselves in life is a product of the help one did or did not receive. Your life and mine will change for the better if help comes your way right now.But we have dealt so much with men that we don't see God anymore.we build hopes and dreams and destinies on men and people.But hear the word of the lord today that 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗱.

Yes, God uses men to convey his help anyway but we have only looked to men than to Him.And that is where we get into error.No, I am not saying we should not appreciate help from people.We should be very grateful to anyone for the help we receive from them ,we should thank them,be grateful to them and we should pray for them.But we should not think that such help only came from them.

Help only comes from God.I have seen how people have expressed gratitude in words that I know could offend God.Any statement of gratitude that robs God of his glory and his work in your life is a sin and a very dangerous trap.“𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃; 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞! 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐬." ISAIAH 42:8 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 (𝐍𝐋𝐓)

Here is another catch to this:Any statement of gratitude that depicts your trust in a man more than God is risky. I have heard people say "without you I will not be alive".I was once in a church service when someone was praising his "father in The Lord" as is the custom these days, and the words he was using to describe this man were words we could only give to God himself. And the disheartening part of it was that the "Father "was basking in the glory of the flattery and could not object to being showered with such descriptions. sad!

Individuals and organizations have crumbled under this sin.Child of God take heed today . Appreciate and praise people for the help you receive from them but always acknowledge God in the process. Don't build your hope ever on another man.Never. Rather keep your eyes on Jehovah who can open doors that no man can shut. "𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭; 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞." (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟑𝟒:𝟓, 𝐍𝐈𝐕).
My wife is a wonderful cook and she delivers delicacies to me in different plates and containers. I think she specializes in choosing the equipment to showcase her mastery of things in the kitchen. But besides the usual compliments I would give about the shape or design of the dishes sometimes,I have never Thanked the dish for a sweet meal. Never.I realise that God provides the food and my wife prepares it.I should be a fool to thank the dish and to say as long as the dish is in the house,I will never starve.When we give men unrestricted praises ,that's exactly what we may be doing. So I thank the Lord for his blessings and My wife for her labours . Everything has has it's place you know.Learn to give people the praises the deserve and to the level to which they deserve it.Don't let any man take the place of God in your life.This calls for deep reflection.Are there people in our lives whom we thought are the ones who will make us succeed in life?Are there people in our lives who we quietly regard as "my all in all?"Are there people on whom you have pegged all your hopes of life on?If you said yes to any of these questions,You need some time to pray.No man deserves that position in your life or mine.No matter how rich or how influencial or how sophisticated a man is,he is just a man.
Can I ask you a favor ? Would you mind asking God for forgiveness if you have ever built your hopes on another person more than you have on God? Please stop reading for a second and ask for mercy right now before you read on.

Yes,Lord I have received lots of help from wonderful people in this world.I thank you for the lives of all whom you used to be channels of your blessings and help to me.But I want to join them all and give back all the glory to you.I need more help and that I know will only come from you.You are the source of everything I am and everything I need.My faith is in you,my hope is in you,my confidence is in you and in you alone.Thank you for the great help you are sending my way right now, Thank you for the special people you are preparing and have prepared as the vessels to deliver this help.In the name of my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ I do pray and believe......Amen!
