Avery, today marks 6 months of you being earth-side. We have experienced the best cuddles and giggles since you’ve been here.

To the boy who made me a mama, Ari, you are my biggest blessing in the midst of chaos. Thank you for choosing me to be your mama and giving my life so much joy, reason, and purpose. I strive to be better because of you and your brother. But always remember that we are intentionally raising you to not feel responsible in fixing the chaos. We stay breaking generational trauma and curses.

Y’all I’m so thankful to be a part of a generation who recognizes we can’t raise our children in the same pain we were raised in. And the reality is (for most) our parents were doing the best they could and what they thought was right. Learn to give yourself the grace and permission in forgiving them. Trigger warning: (unless there was abuse involved).

The days have felt so heavy - words fail me. 🥺😢

My babies are my lifeline. So I cannot even imagine such a heartache. My heart is shattered knowing of the moms who said their last goodbyes to their babies without knowing it was going to be their last goodbye. 💔

Praying for the families affected (and those who have been affected by such a senseless act). And though it’s so hard - I want to stay firm in my faith and be hopeful for change.

Let’s take action by: donating, sharing resources, and making those political calls. But also hold your loved ones a little tighter and tell them you love them because we are truly on borrowed time.✨

Originally, New Jersey did a great job in getting vaccinated when it became available. But now in order to continue moving forward and staying safe and healthy we should get boosted.

Vaccinations is the most effective way to stay safe. If you are unvaccinated, you are unprotected and vulnerable to the virus. And if you have only received 1 dose out of a 2 dose vaccine you are not fully vaccinated. The highest level of protection is vaccine + booster.

NJ has made it conveniently easy to with over 1,000 locations across NJ, including but not limited to many local pharmacies.

Avery, I gave you life, but in reality, you gave me mine. 🤍

Two months of extra cuddles, coos and baby smells with you. It’s true what they say, instead of your heart dividing itself to love another baby it actually expands and becomes bigger. I love being your mama.

Recently, I was able to schedule and visit my local CVS pharmacy to get my booster shot! For me, getting the booster added another layer of protection. It provided my family peace of mind, while we continue to practice other safety protocols.

In full transparency, like many, I was unsure about getting the vaccine. However, after becoming pregnant in the middle of the pandemic with numbers rising, the health and safety of my family became my main priority.

That is why I have partnered up with to continue to bring awareness to the resources by their health experts that have been made available to us regarding the vaccine. Let’s stay informed, ask the important questions, extend the knowledge to our loved ones and assist them during these times.

But also, let’s also respect one another’s personal health decisions. Stay safe.

I am forever grateful to my God for choosing me to be my little ones mama. 🫶🏽🙏🏽

Through the ups and downs of motherhood, I try to be the best mother I can and need to be for my boys. While simultaneously breaking generational chains that will stop with me. Through the everyday exhaustion of life — I keep pushing forward. Because these tiny humans have given my life meaning & purpose. They have taught me to show myself more grace. To put my self care at the forefront in order to give them the best of me and not ‘pieces of me.’ Mama has become my favorite title — I’ll do anything for my tiny humans, I love you 👦🏽👦🏽

Babe, thank you for riding this parenthood wave with me — I wouldn’t want it any other way!!
