My girl got tubes today! 💕 Last night I was full of anxiety thinking about today. I knew the procedure itself would be quick and G would do amazing. But spending time in different hospitals, losing my parents, and seeing my parents for one of the last times on a hospital gurney caused trauma.

This morning, GPS told my husband to turn and I saw a hospital and almost started to have a panic attack. Thankfully we passed it and went to a smaller clinic because there’s no way I would have walked through hospital doors. Seeing G on a gurney required some deep breaths but faith over fear kept me calm. She did amazing and we are hopeful that this can help her. G has been in speech for a year and struggles with g, k, f, v, and s sounds. She failed her kindergarten hearing test in March and that’s when we decided to try tubes for fluid in her ears. After surgery, the doctor said there wasn’t much fluid today so we don’t know if this is something that will change her hearing loss but I sure am praying it’s the answer! We go to the audiologist in two weeks and G will have another hearing test. 🙏🏻 We’ll do anything for our girl! Thank you for the good vibes and prayers for G today! 💕
