I’ve decided to take a foxy lil break.

Honestly, I have zero idea whether it’ll end up being a forever break or a week-long break. I just know I need some space to reevaluate what this outlet is for me.

I’ll keep making stuff. And sometimes I’ll probably still share it. Being creative keeps my brain good. Unfortunately, the deadlines and math and attentiveness required to run a successful business are
starting to feel far too overwhelming.

Some reminders about art:

🌿 It’s not only about the application. It’s also about the creative process that takes place before a single part of it is made.

🌿 But as far as the process goes, it’s often more complex than you may realize.

🌿 Plus! The time! Making the finished product (which can take literal years for some artists) but also the time spent learning and honing a craft. Exploring and learning. Rethinking mistakes to transform them into something new. ETCETERA.

🌿 We love what we make. Not like in an “this is cute” kind of way, but in a really visceral, extension of our selves kind of way.

So when you pass our table or our tent and you say, “I could’ve made that,” just know that even if you could, you didn’t. We did. So be nice.

Today I met so many nice people, listened to great music, shared my art with Morgantown, and held this frame around my face! It was the best day!
