Our vision is to have a community free from gbv, r**e and fgm. Every girl to acquire menstrual care

This day 11th October is an International day for an African Girl Child.
Theme: "Our time is now, our rights, our future."
This day is particularly important and special to us Me For Her Empowerment because of the central place that Girl child has in Our Hearts and Minds.
Me For Her Empowerment is working on establishing centres for Girl child spaces, where girls can access Menstrual pads, literacy skills and activate their desire to dream again.

Me for her Empowerment is working on a path to ensure that girls pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully in their societies...
Bring your hands together and let's embrace this journey🔥🔥🔥

These statistics on new HIV infections and early teenage pregnancies is something we shouldn't sweep under the carpet.
I know we preach to these young girls abstinence but the reality is,most of them are having s*x,procuring unsafe abortions and infected with STIs and HIV.
We need to tell them the truth. They should be taught about practising safe s*x.These girls are the next leaders, women in business, bosses and mothers. We have to keep them safe.
Some are getting infected and impregnated because of "s*x for pads" .They are exchanging s*x for money to go buy sanitary towels.
I still don't understand why the government has not taken the initiative of giving out sanitary towels to these age bracket of girls (age 10-age 18).Grown up men are being supplied with free condoms to go have s*x,people who think about s*x should be in a position to buy condoms and if they cannot afford to buy quality condoms let them stay away from women.
I have come across cases of girls using cob webs and torn pieces of clothes during their menstruation and these girls are very vulnerable which leads to men taking advantage of their vulnerability.
We need to have open and candid discussions with our young girls not to make mistakes that some of us made.Let us discuss about s*x with our teenagers, let us make it our responsibility to guide them. They are the future 😊.

A narcissist makes you feel that everything happening is your fault. They will cheat on you and still blame you for their cheating.
To all victims and survivors who were bold enough to walk out from emotional abuse, you did the right thing because Emotional and psychological torture are also forms of abuse.
Today 1st June we create awareness that narcissism can affect one's self esteem and how it affects victims mentally.
