There was a time in our marriage when Lisa and I were offended by each other for about eighteen months straight. The same argument resurfaced over and over again. One night, I stormed out of the house. I was furious with Lisa and I immediately started complaining to God. I'll never forget how God responded.
The Holy Spirit didn't sympathize with me; rather He simply whispered to me, "Son, I want you to think of one thing you appreciate about Lisa and then thank Me for it." It took me a while, but I finally mumbled, "She's a good mom. Lord, thank You that Lisa's a really good cook. Thank You that she's beautiful." As words began to flow, I proceeded to list Lisa's good qualities at the rate of a machine gun. At that point I was no longer upset with Lisa; I was upset with myself. I had treated Lisa horribly. I had treated her like an inconvenience to my calling. I rushed home, exclaiming, "Lisa, I am so sorry! I've been such a jerk. Please forgive me. You are an amazing mother and excellent wife, and you are the desire of my heart." As I spoke, Lisa softened and began to cry. Unbeknownst to me, while I was gone, she had prayed, "God, if you bring John back and he tells me he's sorry, I'm going to open my heart again."

I know the transformational power of gratitude firsthand. Gratitude became a catalyst for healing and restored intimacy in our relationship. It can do the same for you.

I personally learn inspiration lessons from this story even I am still single. Gratitude could be applied in all kind of relationship as It is the Heart of God!

As the pinnacle of creation, God creates Adam and Eve. Unlike creation accounts from other religions and cultures, Genesis 1 elevates the significance of human beings as people not created to be the slaves of whimsical gods, but rather they are given God’s very image with all the inherent dignity that this inestimable honor affords.

Humanity is called to care for creation as God’s vice-regents in the world.

As a result of this great privilege, humans fulfill their call when they steward, nurture, protect, and cultivate God’s awe-inspiring creation, worshipping God for His displayed power, wonder, wisdom, and love.

The Bible is fundamentally the narrative of God’s redeeming work in our world. It begins with creation and reveals a God that existed before anything else. As the Sovereign King and Lord of all that exists, His creation reveals a profound glimpse into His character. Genesis 1 imparts the paramount truth that “in the beginning God…”. God creates from His words, and He is dynamically and intimately involved in His creation. Through creation He is revealing Himself to be a God who is both transcendent and immanent, holy and intimate. Although the act of creation is ultimately a mystery that we cannot fully comprehend (and discussions of its details often raise many questions that have stirred controversy among politicians, between friends, and within the church), Genesis 1 establishes God to be sovereign over all creation.

It’s easy to forget in our day-to-day lives that the God who created the universe is active in upholding all things, including our very existence. We forget that God is the main character in this world and all that exists revolves around Him. We easily slip into a self-centered universe where we become lost in the pursuit of our own desires, rather than living in a manner that reflects the paramount truth that “in the beginning God….” As we reflect upon the nature and character of this Creator God, Psalm 104 models for us the only appropriate response—worship, adoration, awe, devotion, gratitude, and loyalty. Not only do we marvel at the beauty of all that He has made, we are humbled that He would place upon our very being the incomparable dignity of His divine image.

Lord God, through the light of nature you have aroused in us a longing for the light of grace, so that we may be raised in the light of your majesty. To you I give thanks, Creator and Lord, that you have allowed me to rejoice in your deeds. Praise the Lord you heavenly harmonies, and you who know the revealed harmonies. For from him, through him and in him, all is, which is perceptible as well as spiritual; that which we know and that which we do not know, for there is still much to learn. – Johannes Kepler (1571-1630, astronomer)

2 Timothy 3: 16-17 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for connection, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished into all good works."

So, read it to be wise, believe it to be saved and practice it to be holy.

Words of God contain light to direct you, food to support you and comfort to cheer you. And it is the traveler's map, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword and the Christian's charter.

Amen Lord....

Stay focused! The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

Don’t let discouragement or distractions cause you to settle. Be alert and attentive to the task God has assigned to you. When you settle, you lose sight of the vision God gave you. Stay focused on the path He has for you, and keep reaching toward your destiny.

You are not going anywhere when you settle! The moment you decide to settle, you let go of where you are headed. In order to reach your vision, you have to keep moving. It’s easy to get distracted and want to stop. In those moments, go back to the promises of God and refocus on the vision. Where is God leading you today?

Peace does not come through anything you achieve. Peace comes when you come to a place of humility.

You know what I found out? It's not the pace of life, and it's not a place in life, and it's not a problem in my life, and it's not a person in life that keeps me from receiving peace. It's my pride.
And when I put aside my pride this Christmas season, and when I embrace and accept my weakness and receive the grace of God, I receive His peace.

Lord, I'm seeking for your favors in making daily decision right before your heart. You know me than I even know myself, my life is not mine, but it is yours 🙏

Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage, Wait for the Lord!"

Following Jesus is a moment-by-moment choice. Like, am I following Him in this moment? In this thought? Am I walking in peace right now? That's what we mean to say you're a disciple. You don't make the decision of discipleship once. You make it daily!
———————
John 8:31-32 "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Progress has been slow. You've been tempted to give up. But you're going to make it, and you're fighting for it.

Say this today: I'm walking in the favor of the Lord!

"Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
(Isaiah 40:30-31)

The reality of life, we always face the storms which help us to grow! Some storms are seasonal, some storms can be avoided, and some storms are uncontrollable. With do nothing, trust the Mighty One. In these kind of storms, do not create double storm by your emotions and decisions which are worse than....

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

It's not a question of God's presence. His presence is everywhere. You don't have to ask Him to be with you. He already is. It's not about God's presence. It's about yours. Are you present in this moment?
