Biggest Rugby League football game of the year, State of Origin, QLD v NSW on today, Wednesday the 8 June at 5.00 pm. As usual, NSW are red hot favourites. Just the way we like it. I expect a couple of Cowboy debutantes in Cotter and Nanai to prove they have what it takes to ensure yet another victory for QLD. Just a reminder Murphys & Whispers are closed due to the government elections alcohol ban on Saturday 04/06/22 and Sunday 05/06/22. Open as normal on Monday. Followers of all things football might be interested to learn that Siem Reap has a top level and very competitive club in the Angkor Tigers FC who defeated Nagaworld FC 4-3 in their recent home game at the Hanuman Stadium situated at the end of Sok San Road, not far from Murphys. Cambodia Premier League has a break now for a few weeks, but keep an eye out for updates because we have a growing number of supporters meeting at Murphys before heading out to the home games for an amazingly cheap afternoon of entertainment. The pressure mounts during CPL 1 round 7 - Khmer Nights It was another shock and goal filled week, as we hit CPL 1 round 7. With the teams now having all played each other once how is the title race now looking?

Round 9 NRL started yesterday with a shock win by Adam Reynolds led Brisbane over his old team South Sydney. This afternoon we have some great games of Australian NRL & AFL football at Murphys Sports Bar in Funky Courtyard, Sok San Road.
