I thought I’d likely never come across another tri-fold travel mirror! Circa 1900-1920 with a heavy frame, ornate hinges, and durable floral back covers—it even has beveled glass! Photographing mirrors isn’t a strength of mine, so enjoy the selfie
Heavy wood and square nails on this one! Open shelving and one large top drawer—structurally as solid as it looks! Pickup or local delivery available.
Two matching matte(ish) finish pieces of vintage American pottery, one quite a bit older than the other. One small 1920s McCoy planter and one tall studio pitcher with the perfect amount of hand-made imperfections. Both available to be shipped to your front door.
Paint that you just can’t fake is always something that we enjoy finding. This low base cupboard is as solid as it looks and is available for pickup / local delivery in SW MI. Comment/message with questions!
No rhyme or reason—just good stuff. Let us know which is your favorite and which one(s) you need!
I think the vintage twister board is going to be a crowd favorite!
TGIF from this solid oak wheelbarrow with an all metal wheel. Definitely an oldie and one that would look great in your garden or porch. Claim it via comment or message!
Moving around some smaller pieces into the sun today! This chest-high cupboard with a single drawer is a pattern we’ve not seen before—get it picked up in SW MI.
Choose your character! These matchbox wall hangers have a lot of personality, age, and color—get them separately or individually! Send a message or comment to claim!
This is one that I’ll regret parting with! A perfectly-aged cat matchbox (wall hanger or freestanding). An exceptional little piece of old folk art. Get it before I change my mind.
Parting with two pairs of 50s/60s shells by Herman Miller (one pair with Zeeland paper tags; the other with a Zenith “Z” stamp). Parchment and Ochre, I believe, but the diehards might know better. Will sell by the chair, by pairs, or as a set. Pickup/local delivery in SE MI
We can’t stop ourselves from finding strange little shoe molds, especially this pointy one! Get these shipped or pick them up at the shop!
Just in:
A dated and stamped crate from a French wine producer featuring glass wine bottles. Perfect for hosting parties or as a large floral display. Available for pickup/local delivery!
Giant primitive beadboard cupboard with large crown molding trim. An overbearing cupboard with more storage than you could ever need.
Available for pickup or local delivery
A few updated photos of this trophy haul, all of which are from the 1930s! They really do shine in the day light! Get the shipped or come snag them at the shop by appointment! Which one grabs your attention?
Sometimes we find things, set them down in the shop, and forget that we have them! Just rediscovered a mini collection of 6 trophies from the 1930s in various sizes. The creme de la creme is a first prize horse trophy from 1936! Comment or message for questions about sizes/engravings, shipping, or if you want to claim ‘em!
An unusual design on this relative new cupboard in the shop. Double doors on the bottom but a smaller single drawer on the top. Split legs with quite a few layers of paint throughout. I can safely say that this is one design we’ve not encountered before in our many primitive cupboards. Any ideas? Available for pickup and local delivery.
Carved “Jack’s Ranch 5-25-06”
A lovely souvenir stein from the wild wild west from 1906! A great conversation piece with 118 years of history. This one can ship easy—message or comment to claim!
A large, well-built industrial crate from the early 20th c. with well-defined font. A great piece of history from before the Rust Belt became rusty 😔
This one is a beast to ship, but local pickup/delivery is available (we can hold this until you can claim it).
We find all sorts of items that are too good to pass up or see destroyed — paper ephemera especially! These four rectangular schematics are actually school assignments completed between 1930-1934 by a student named Frank Jarecki (Farragut MS and Crane Technical HS). For a MS/HS student, he really did a wonderful job (and the grades on the papers reflect that). Shipping and local pickup available.
Another smattering of smalls in the shop at the moment (some can ship, some are available for local pickup)! Special shout-out to the rag basket and these adorable kid’s suitcases (with travel stickers and all). Let us know what you need and how we can get it to you!
JUST IN:

We’re luck to find as many killer pie safes as we do and this one is no exception. Clean, solid construction, and in a perfectly-aged white paint. Pickup and local drivers available in SW and SE Michigan. Reach out with questions!
Showing off another angle of this gorgeous primitive cupboard with a few layers of old green and blue paint. This piece was in need of some love and repair when we got it, and I can’t believe how well it turned out. Two drawers at the top and a two cabinet doors on the body, so plenty of storage inside. Interested? Happy to send more information, setup pickup/delivery, or answer any questions you might have!
We can’t resist fun and unusual smalls. From an advertising wallet calendar to hand-drawn and signed dog sketches—let us know what you need!
All ship and all are available for pickup in SW and SE MI.
