During the Spring 2024 Finals Countdown Dinner, students came together to collect their dinners and support each other as they prepared for their finals. The Student Services Team provided a variety of food, including kimbap, ramen, chips, fruits, drinks, and coffee. To help reduce waste, students brought their own bags to carry all this food. 🌱

The SUNY Korea Quad transformed into a stunning runway on May 24, as the NDGC Spring Fashion Show kicked off the Spring Festival with “Futuristic Florals.” 🌸✨

FIT students showcased their talent with garments dyed using natural pigments, blending organic beauty with modern design. The runway was adorned with chiffon and florals, creating an ethereal backdrop for the 14 models who wowed the crowd with vibrant, eco-friendly designs.🌿🌼✨

The 2024 Spring Festival at the SUNY Korea Quad was an absolute blast! Over a thousand students from all IGC universities joined us for an unforgettable evening filled with fun, food, and fantastic performances. 🌸✨

Students participated in a variety of activities at the SUNY Korea light house event, ‘Craftopia’.

Students unwinded their creativity with friends by making waffles, a DIY music box, a DIY mini terrarium, a mini canvas painting, and craft bracelets and keyrings.

On May 22nd, SUNY Korea‘s CDC hosted an amazing resume workshop with David Choi of DCHOI Global! 🌟 Students learned to craft standout resumes and tailor them for specific jobs. Big thanks to the CDC for supporting our career goals!

“Chasing Sunsets: A Soiree to Remember” was a blast! Hosted by 💚Willow💚, our student club dedicated to promoting a healthy campus life both physically and mentally, this event provided the perfect space for students and community members to take a break and have fun as the final weeks approach.

On May 10th, the Incheon Global Campus buzzed with energy as students and faculty gathered for the IGC Research Showcase, featuring 104 innovative research posters!

First place went to Mechanical Engineering students Eun Jae Lee, DaeRyeon Choi, Jungmin Lee, Mijin Lee, and Hyobin Shin for their AI Smart Farm project. Congratulations! 🏆

Stony Brook University (SBU) and Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) students of SUNY Korea have once again proven their talents and capabilities on the international stage, securing top honors in two prestigious competitions.

Students from all 4 universities attended SUNY Korea's insightful career talk on May 8th, 2024. Ruby Kang, from Cartier Group Korea, shared key insights on "Understanding the Digital Evolution". From captivating campaigns like "TB Monogram" to the successful Cartier HJ Event, Kang emphasized adaptability and consumer engagement.

At the recent FIT Guest Speaker Event, Lee, Chief Brand Officer at Shinsegae, shared pearls of wisdom on infusing creativity into brand storytelling. From innovative thinking to embracing the creative process, her insights are a guide for success in today‘s dynamic market.

In a celebration of the extravagance and self-expression of the 1970s and 1980s, the SUNY Korea Museum of Modern Costume unveils its latest exhibition, "Retro Party 7080." Running from April 17th, 2024, to May 31st, 2024, this exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant fashion culture of two iconic decades.

🎯🎮 Students went head-to-head with the Exemplar House Resident Advisors in epic challenges like darts, Mario Kart, and more at the ‘Student vs. RA’ event!

An unforgettable Korean Culture Day🇰🇷 unfolded for international students at SUNY Korea as the International Students Association (ISA) collaborated with the Shutter Photography Club for an enriching day trip to Seoul. Students were able to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of Korea by exploring the streets of Bukchon Hanok Village and the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Dressed in their beautiful Hanbok attire, they were able to capture priceless moments, cherishing the essence of youth and cultural exploration.

Students at SUNY Korea had the opportunity to learn from their peers during a dynamic Internship Panel. Jiyoon Kim (FBM), Suyeong Park (AMS), Sangbin Park (BM), and Hajung Seo (TSM) shared invaluable insights from their internship journeys, covering fashion, deep learning, marketing, and administration fields.

Last night, the RC Key House hosted the ”Murder Mystery“ event at SUNY Korea! Five teams competed against each other, decrypting puzzles and cracking riddles to uncover the truth behind the mystery.🔑🕵️

Inspirer House hosted our first RC House event, ”Game&Trivia Night,“ on March 13! 🎲 Students gathered for a night of board games, activities, and raffle prizes. Check out these pictures from the fun-filled evening! 📸 Stay tuned for more RC House events!

Over 80 bright minds from SUNY Korea, George Mason University Korea, University of Utah Asia Campus, and Ghent University Global Campus came together at the IGC Small Theater on March 23, 2024, for a spectacular "Talk to Me in Korean" (TTMIK) event!

On March 20, 2024, Room 203 in Building B at SUNY Korea buzzed with excitement for a special gathering. Students, professors, and staff came together to exchange knowledge and passion around a single book, representing diverse majors and backgrounds. This is the SUNY Korea Book Club, where the protagonists are its members.
SUNY Korea's book club is not just an ordinary book club, but it is a community where people from various backgrounds come together to share knowledge and understand each other. This book club convenes every Wednesday during lunchtime, from 12 PM to 1 PM, to listen to audiobooks and engage in in-depth discussions.

SUNY Korea's Computer Science stars shine again! 🌟 Our talented team swept THREE major awards at Stony Brook University's Hackathons:

On Friday, December 8th, 2023 SUNY Korea donated 30,000,000 KRW worth of rice to the City of Incheon. The donation, equivalent to 8,960 kilograms (448 bags of 20 kg each), is a demonstration of SUNY Korea’s commitment to making a positive impact on the local community. The rice has been distributed among 21 different Social Welfare Centers in Incheon. Notably, the donated rice was grown locally in Incheon, exemplifying that the donation not only provides support to those in need but also actively contributes to the community.
