The lateral cephalometric X-ray plays a huge role in the diagnosis. We had to extract in this case to make the inclination of the front teeth normal again and enhance the profile.
What is sad is that this was a re-treatment after a non-extraction original treatment plan which has made the patient’s teeth (and profile) much worse. Proper diagnosis and treatment planning is essential before we even put the braces on! #xrays #kuwait #lebanon
إن الأشعة الجانبية الخاصة لتقويم الأسنان ضرورية جدًا لتحديد نوع العلاج. كان لا بد من خلع الأسنان في هذه الحالة لتصحيح بروز الأسنان و تحسين "البروفايل" (معالجة تَقَدُم البراطم).
المحزن هنا ان هذا هو العلاج الثاني للحالة بعد علاج قديم دون خلع للاسنان الذي جعل الاسنان و الشفتين أسوأ بشكلٍ كبير. التشخيص الدقيق و تخطيط العمل هما أمران بغاية الأهمية حتى قبل تثبيت جهاز #التقويم! #الاشعة #كويت #لبنان
