Don't be sad if Allah separates you from something or someone you love. If only we knew what His plans were for us, our hearts would melt with the warmth of His love.
Allah quoted the Prophet (ﷺ) as telling Abu Bakr while they were in the cave hiding from the Quraysh who were seeking to kill them,
"Don't be sad. Indeed Allah is with us."
(Qur'ān - 9:40)

Sūrah Āli ʿImrān
وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ٨٥
85. And whoever desires other than Islām as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.
