An amazing day of mutual inspiration!

One beautiful rainy Saturday at Mandalou_darinou with the theme of "Solidarity and Sharing" where the kids stuffed and decorated "Bestie" along with making unique notebooks that will be donated to other children during Christmas. The kids were calling their Besties beautiful names like: "Doudou", "Banane", "Blueberry"!

Fournir aux enfants défavorisés du matériel artisanal pour se réchauffer mais aussi pour jouer et rêver. Semer des paillettes de bonheur et d'espoir dans la vie de ces enfants-là grâce au célèbre doudou Bestie. C'est l'objectif de l'ONG "You are my sunshine" fondée par des femmes qui se donnent corps et âmes pour aider les enfants à besoins spéciaux.
C'est avec beaucoup de reconnaissance et d'amour que nous les recevons ce samedi pour collaborer ensemble et encourager les enfants qui participent à nos ateliers au travail humanitaire et leur donner l'occasion de vivre la joie de donner.

100 Besties along with 100 knitted hats are on their way to Armenia to comfort and warm the innocent refugee kids in these harsh times. The world is witnessing yet another devastating ethnic cleansing as we watch families forced to leave their homes behind in . Our hearts and thoughts are with the refugees, especially the kids.

Thank you dear Dalal El Adem and Tracy Awad Naggear for giving us the chance to share your pain of losing Alexandra, Kristelle and all the victims of Beirut Port blast of Aug 4.
Alexandra, Kristelle and all the casualties of Aug 4 are not only your loved ones but those of the Lebanese community at large. We love you and will always stand by you.

On the occasion of March 21, International Down Syndrome Day, 100 Besties were delivered to Arev Yerekhaner Center in Yerevan. Thank you Father Krikor for giving us this fulfilling opportunity.

In collaboration with Haigazian University students and the Red Cross, we were able to give warmth to earthquake stricken children in Syria with 90 knitted hats.

"You Are My Sunshine" would like to wish the people of the world, children and elderly specifically, a year filled with warmth, peace and love. We are grateful that the hats and the shawls that we knitted have made it on time for the besieged children of Artsakh.
