They engaged in fruitful discussions about educational technology, focusing on the use of immersive learning techniques in education. The learners were introduced to Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), recognizing their effectiveness and the importance of using them in the classroom.

Ms. Krystèl Yaacoub was honored to visit Al Carmelia Kobayat School in Kobayat, where she had the opportunity to meet the heads of departments and coordinators. We had fruitful discussions about educational technology, including the use of Immersive Learning techniques in education. They were introduced to Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) and recognized their effectiveness and the importance of using them with students.

Thank you to the school principal, Mrs. Reine Moarbess, who is always keen on providing the best and latest advancements for the students, for the invitation, as well as to the head of the monastery, Father Raymond Abdo, and Father Bachir Moarbes.

We are very pleased with the positive feedback following the meeting and look forward to further cooperation in the near future.

Ms. Krystèl Yaacoub had the pleasure to introduce the concepts of coding and robotics to the preschool teachers at Saints-Coeurs Ain Najm, emphasizing their benefits for the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development of students, as well as their importance in acquiring language and mathematical skills.

In addition, she provided the school with the necessary tools and the educational program corresponding to these concepts.

By a special invitation, Ms. Krystèl Yaacoub participated with Saint Mary's Orthodox College (SMOC) on May 9th in the first educational conference "Future Education ... Towards Vision 2030," organized by GEDA company in collaboration with the EdTech Syndicate of Lebanon, under the patronage and in the presence of the General Director of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Imad Al-Ashqar.

Given its experience in educational technology and the extensive expertise gained from that experience, Saint Mary's Orthodox College (SMOC) became the first Lebanese school to showcase its educational technologies alongside tech companies at the 7th technology conference and exhibition, EDUTECH, organized by the General Secretariat of Catholic Schools at their headquarters on April 25, 26, and 27, 2024.

Over the 3 days, Ms. Krystèl Yaacoub presented to visitors all the technological methods, approaches, and tools that learners benefit from in the educational technology lab at the school. The attendees were impressed by the educational uses of virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, holograms, programming, robotics, 3D printing, and STEAM activities.

The General Secretariat appreciated the exhibitors' contributions to the conference's success by inviting their representatives to an honorary dinner on April 30.

نظرًا لتجربتها في مجال تكنولوجيا التّربية ولخبرتها الكبيرة المستقاة من تلك التّجربة، استطاعت مدرسة السّيدة الأرثوذكسيّة أن تُصبِح المدرسة اللّبنانيّة الأولى الّتي تعرض، إلى جانب شركات تكنولوجيا، تقنيّاتها التّربويّة التّكنولوجيّة خلال فعاليّات المؤتمر والمعرض التّكنولوجيّ السّابع EDUTECH الّذي نظّمته الأمانة العامّة للمدارس الكاثوليكيّة في مقرّها أيّام 25، 26 و27 نيسان 2024.

على مدى ثلاثة أيّام، عرضَت السّيدة كريستل يعقوب أمام الزّوّار لكلّ الأساليب والطّرائق والأدوات التّكنولوجيّة الّتي يستفيد منها المتعلّمون في مختبر تكنولوجيا التّربية الخاصّ بثانويّة السّيّدة. وقد أُعجب الحاضرون بالاستخدامات التّربويّة لكلّ من الواقعين الافتراضيّ والمعزَّز، الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ، الهواوغرامات، البرمجة، الرّوبوتات والطّابعة الثّلاثيّة الأبعاد ونشاطات الـ STEAM.

هذا وقدّرت الأمانة العامّة مساهمة العارضين في إنجاح المؤتمر بدعوة ممثّليهم إلى عشاء تكريميّ يوم 30 نيسان.

Ms. Krystèl Yaacoub participated with Saint Mary's Orthodox College (SMOC) on the 7th and 8th of March 2024 in the National Exhibition for Educational Supplies and Solutions, SchoolTec, at the Movenpick Hotel Beirut.

During the exhibition, they presented the technological tools and techniques used in the school. Visitors showed significant interest and interaction, especially during their testing of Augmented and Virtual realities, alongside other technologies. Additionally, on the second day, they provided practical training on how to use Artificial Intelligence in the educational-learning process. The attendees realized the effectiveness of technology when used properly, in saving time and improving quality.

شاركت السّيدة كريستل يعقوب مع مدرسة السّيدة الأرثوذكسيّة يومي7 و8 آذار 2024 في المعرض الوطنيّ للمستلزمات والحلول التّعليميّة SchoolTec في فندق موفنبك بيروت.

خلال المعرض، عرضنوا الوسائلَ والتّقنيّات التّكنولوجيّة المستخدَمة في المدرسة حيث تفاعل الزّوّار معهم بشكل كبير أثناء اختبارهم الواقعين المعزّز والافتراضيّ، إلى جانب تقنيّات أخرى. كما وأنّهم قدّموا خلال اليوم الثّاني تدريبًا عمليًّا على كيفيّة استخدام الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ في العمليّة التّعليميّة-التّعلّميّة، حيث أدرك المشاركين مدى فعاليّة التّكنولوجيا، إذا ما استُخدِمت بالشّكل المناسب، في اختصار الوقت وتحسين الجودة.

The Antonine Sisters School Roumieh organized multiple training sessions for teachers and heads of departments, preparing for the adoption of the new teaching technique, 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐑/𝐕𝐑, from Kindergarten to Secondary School, starting in October of the current year.

We are confident that, with the grace of God, this new educational experience will be both enjoyable and effective for the students! 😍
