REGISTER BEFORE MARCH 15TH 2019

نظّمت كلية الفنون والعلوم في الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية - البقاع، سلسلة ورش عمل تدريبية وتطبيقية لطلاب أقسام العلوم الحياتية، الكيمياء، الفيزياء، والرياضيات وذلك بمشاركة وحضور ما يزيد على مائة طالب وطالبة من أقسام الكليّة. هدفت الورش إلى تقديم نماذج تطبيقية وعملية لأساليب التدريس المعتمدة في الإختصاصات العلمية كافة وإتاحة الفرصة لطلاب الكلية لإعتمادها وتطبيقها في تخصصاتهم. أنطلقت سلسلة الورش التاسعة صباحاً بجلسة عامّة تخللها كلمة ترحيبية ألقاها العميد التنفيذي لكلية العلوم الدكتور سامي الخطيب تلتها فقرة جرى خلالها تكريم المدربين قبل الإنتقال إلى القاعات المخصصة لكل ورشة عمل على حدى.
أدار الجلسات التدريبية مدربون متخصصون في الإختصاصات المعنية (أستاذ صبحي صبرا (الرياضيات)، د. مهدي منصور (الفيزياء)، أستاذ فؤاد بكّار (علوم حياتية)، والأستاذة وفاء قاووق (الكيمياء)). وقد أشرف على التنظيم والمتابعة كلً من الدكتورة مادلين طحّان والدكتور سامي حمّود.

نرحّب بكم مجدداً وننتظر لقاءكم يوم الجمعة القادم 20 نيسان 2018 في معرض العلوم السادس.
نظراً للمشاركة الكثيفة في المعرض لهذا العام، فقد تم توزيع المشاريع المشاركة على باحتين مختلفتين:
· تعرض مشاريع قسم الروضات والمرحلة الأولى في المبنى " ب “من الجامعة

· تعرض مشاريع المرحلة الثانية والمتوسطة والثانوية في الملعب الشتوي المغلق


ليتسنى لنا خدمتكم بالشكل الأفضل، نرجو من حضراتكم الإلتفات وقراءة للنقاط التالية:

· يرجى من كل مدرسة إرسال أستاذ (ة ( مع كل مشروع مقدم

· الحرص على أن يكون عدد الأساتذة كاف لعدد المشاريع

· تقدم وجبة غذاء لكل طالب مشارك في هذا المعرض بين الساعة 12:30-13:00 لذلك نرجو إعلام التلاميذ بعدم إحضار الطعام (يمكن إحضار وجبات خفيفة)

· سوف يتم تسليم وجبات الغذاء للأستاذ المسؤول عن مشروعه ابتداءاً من الساعة ١٢:٠٠

· لقد تم تجهيز وصلات كهربائية لجميع المشاريع

· الرجاء الإلتزام بالمساحة المقدمة لكل مشروع نظرا لكثافة المشاريع

· الرجاء عدم نقل أو تغطية ال “code” الموجود على اللوحة تسهيلا لعمل الحكام.

· يجب على الطلاب الإلتزام بأماكنهم لغاية مرور إثنين من الحكام على كل مشروع

· نرجو من الأساتذة الأفاضل الحضور إلى قاعة الإفتتاح (C1 ) عند الساعة 9:15

يسرّ إدارة الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية إعلامكم بأنها بصدد التحضير لمعرض العلوم السنوي الخامس (الذي سيقام يوم السبت في 08/04/2017)، على أن تُوجّه الدعوات لجميع المدارس المشاركة قريباً بإذن الله.

LIU Annual Science Fair The School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese International University, Bekaa Campus organizes the

أهلاً وسهلاً بالمدارس والطلاب المشاركين
حظاً موفقاً للجميع

Under the auspices of His Execllency Mr. Abdul Rahim Murad, the School of Arts and Sciences held its Third Science Fair in Bekaa. Twenty two schools and educational centers from the Bekaa area participated in this major educational event with a total of 120 competing projects.
The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President of the Lebanese International University, Dr. Samir Abou Nassif; Educational Supervisor of "Al Ghad Al Afdal Institutions," Dr. Youssef Smaili; Administrative Director, Mr. Bassem Hazimeh; Academic Director of Bekaa Campus, Dr. Ahmad F***j; Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Tarek Harb; other school Deans and faculty members; and school principals, teachers and students.
The ceremony started with a sketch prepared and produced by Communication Art students in Bekaa Campus. The sketch highlighted the achievements of some of the major intellectual figures in the Arab Islamic history. Then, Dr. F***j praised in his introductory speech the achievements of the School of Arts and Sciences, mainly creating the right educational experiences for its students.
In his speech, Dr. Sami Khatib, Assistant Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, pointed out how LIU's Science Fair has become a major educational event in the Bekaa area. Dr. Khatib added, “One of the main challenges we are facing as an educational institution is keeping up with the revolutionary changes in information and communication technology. Dr. Khatib contended that, in order to face such a challenge, LIU has organized the science fair event so as to foster creativity among school students who join the fair to show their innovations in all domains of science. Dr. Khatib concluded by saying that students' participation in such events would definitely grant them the opportunity to integrate their scientific and intellectual skills with their social and cultural ones.
Dr. Youssef Smaili congratulated in his speech instructors, staff members, workers and students on the success of the event that wouldn't have been reached without their collective effort. Dr. Smaili reminded the audience of LIU's mission of serving and developing education in the Bekaa area and the country as a whole. As part of that mission, Dr. Smaili emphasized that LIU will always try to reward exceling students generously.
At the end of the opening ceremony, Dr. Samir Abou Nassif presented trophies and certificates of participation to the principals of the participating schools and the Science Fair Committee members respectively. After the official opening of the fair was announced, Dr. Abou Nassif along with all the honorary guests toured the fair stopping at each school's station, praising the tremendous effort exerted by both students and supervising teachers.
At 11:00 am the judging process started. A team of professional judges from different schools and campuses at LIU worked for two consecutive hours on evaluating the competing projects using pre-established criteria. The winners were announced during the closing ceremony. All winners received certificates, medals and valuable prizes.
