This year’s theme is “Access to Diabetes Care” with the slogan “Know Your Risk, Know Your Response”.

Type 2 Diabetes, the most common type, is preventable and can be controlled with a healthy lifestyle and adequate medical treatment. Every year, from November 1st, to 30th, campaigns to raise the awareness of Diabetes, its prevention and management, are executed. ‘World Diabetes Day’ is celebrated annually on November 14th.
