God’s desire for His children and yes, organizations which represent Him, is that we realize our fullest potential. This theme is captured by John in 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”. The servant of the Lord says it beautifully “Higher than the highest thought can reach is God’s ideal for His children” Ed. 18.4. That is what Conference Status is all about, maximizing our fullest capacity.

In proportion to the enthusiasm and perseverance with which the work is carried forward will be the success given. God can work miracles for His people only as they act their part with untiring energy. He calls for men of devotion to His work, men of moral courage, with ardent love for souls, and with a zeal that never flags. Such workers will find no task too arduous, no prospect too hopeless; they will labor on, undaunted, until apparent defeat is turned into glorious victory. {PK 263}
