The values I was brought up with and the love for this land have led me to serve as an officer in the IDF - Israeli
Defense Forces - for 26 years.

Born and raised in the land of Israel, I have travelled it, walked its paths with my parents and with my children;
tasting its delicacies, experiencing its unique stories and enjoying this country’s magnificent landscape. During my military service I learned about some additional aspects of Israel –
social, political and cultural, and retired as a lieutenant colonel. This deep and meaningful acqua

Good morning my dear friends👋👋👋

Today I want to share with you a special three-day trip that I took with a group of high school students. We started our journey in Tel Aviv at the Abductees Square, near the "Special Representatives" monument. This monument is a powerful reminder of the importance of bringing all of our abducted home safely. 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱

From there, we continued to Masada, where we woke early to witness the most breathtaking sunrise. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

In these challenging times, maintaining a sense of normalcy is more important than ever. We are all looking forward to the end of the war and new days of peace and travel in our beautiful country, Israel.
I miss you all and hope to see you soon.

Good (and rainy) morning everyone.
This time I share with you my very special trip. A visit to Dalit El Carmel, and an amazing tour of a place called the "House of Colors".
A four-story residence located in the Druze village of Dalit El Carmel, in northern Israel. The house is painted in many bright colors, including red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and more. The painting began in 2015, by the Druze artist Sam Halabi. Halavi decided to paint the house after his mother's death, as a way to remember her and bring joy to the world. Artist Sam Halaby

"The House of Colors" has become a popular tourist attraction. Thousands of visitors visit the village yearly to see the unique house. The house is also an active place for art and creation. Halavi opened an art gallery instead, a restaurant, and a storyteller.

When skies turn gray and paths grow rough, a whisper of joy in the soul, a burst of color in the eye, brings solace untold. Counting down the days until we share vibrant adventures in Israel!

Good morning friends🙂😎
I took a short break from my volunteer activities and went on a three-day trip to the south together with excited high school students who were happy to finally go on a little trip after 3 months that was not possible due to the war against Hamas.
So this post is divided into two parts - a video about the beautiful place I am in called "Mitzpe Moav" near the city of Arad (link👉https://did.li/M0QlC), and the second post of spectacular landscape photos.
Enjoy!!

Good morning my friends 🙏🙏
Between birthday celebrations and short trips, I came this time to establish a one-of-a-kind kindergarten in a hotel in Tiberias 🤩😻
This beautiful place will take in babies of residents evacuated from Kibbutz Bar'am and Kiryat Shmona who were forced to leave their homes due to Hezbollah bombings from Lebanon🫶👶👧💛❤️ Despite the complex situation, we are here, volunteering together and doing as much as possible to make it easier for them and their families.

We will continue to pray for peace and better days for us all🙏🙏🙏

Hello friends🤠
The past week has been incredibly challenging and sorrowful for us. We faced substantial losses, with many soldiers tragically losing their lives in battles against Hamas.
Despite the overwhelming difficulty, I remain committed to volunteering and making a difference. I feel it's crucial to convey the resilience, morale, and sense of purpose that
I, along with numerous fellow citizens, am experiencing.
This week, I dedicated my time to assist in an avocado orchard and a red raspberry farm, finding a few hours of solace and immense joy in contributing.
This encapsulates life here in Israel—complex yet infused with a spirit of unity and a steadfast hope for peaceful days ahead.

My best wishes to you until we meet again along the paths of Israel🙏🤗

My dear friends 😎
As you know, I enjoy volunteering in different places where I can. Recently, I had the opportunity to work on a special project in Tiberias where we arranged and designed kindergartens in hotel for evacuees children from the north who have been living there for the past two months. Volunteering on this project was incredibly rewarding for me and all the other volunteers. It was amazing to see the beauty that was created and I can only imagine how much joy it will bring to the children who will soon call it their own. 😻😻
Despite all the going on around us, it's important to remember that there are moments of hope and joy. I'm grateful to have been a part of this project.

I look forward to seeing you all soon, hopefully, when things are calmer.
Wishing you all good days ahead,

Hello friends🤠
Continuing with my volunteer work during the ongoing war, today I assisted farmers in harvesting pomegranates at an orchard. Take a look at the beauty that surrounds us. Despite the challenges we've faced in the last two months, I feel a deep sense of pride in my fellow Israelis and all the individuals who have volunteered to help.
🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
I'm optimistic that peaceful days are ahead. While we wait to resume hiking the trails of Israel, I encourage you to relish these pictures nearly as much as I cherished the harvest. hope to you all soon😎🤗

Happy Hanukkah, and Good morning everyone🤠
Here are some updates from me and what I'm doing during this challenging time here in Israel: We're still volunteering and helping our farmers across the country in light of the war. This week, I went to a rose farm that grows about 300 varieties! 🌹🌷🥀
It turns out that working in a rose farm is not easy or simple at all. There are many stages of growth, and each stage has its own way of care and maintenance. Beyond the hard work, it was a very rewarding day because we also learned a lot about roses, and also especially because it was my little sister's birthday, and she joined me for the work, And at the end of the day, the owner of the farm gave her a birthday present of two pots of especially fragrant roses!
🌹🌷🥀
Dear Friends, We're strong and united, and we're all hoping for peaceful days soon so we can get back to traveling around our beautiful country!
I hope to see you all soon🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱

The things we do today🇮🇱🇮🇱😎
Good morning my friends. It's been a while since I've written or shared a post, and I must admit, it's been a difficult and challenging time for us here in Israel.

It's true that we're taking fewer trips, but there's been a surge in volunteering and mutual aid, as you can see in the video, And this is a great opportunity to express my gratitude to everyone who cares about us here and asks about our well-being.

Thank you, and I promise to see you all soon!

Hey there, fellow adventurers!
Let me take you on a journey following in the footsteps of Jesus and beyond.

Our first stop was an emotional visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The atmosphere there was absolutely surreal, and the history seeping through its walls left us in awe 👉https://did.li/1L0fT

We continued our pilgrimage, walking the Way of Sorrows, visiting the 14 stations of the Via Dolorosa. The experience was truly moving, tracing the path of Jesus' suffering 👉https://did.li/tpfZH

Next, we explored the Church of the Annunciation, where Mary received the angel Gabriel's miraculous message. Imagine standing where history itself unfolded!

We couldn't miss the chance to visit the ancient settlement of Magdala, nestled by the picturesque Sea of Galilee. This was once the home of Mary Magdalene, and the historical significance of the place was palpable👉https://did.li/pGqrl

And oh, the food! We had a blast at a cooking workshop, mastering the art of crafting grape leaves, creamy tahini, and a scrumptious bulgur salad. Our taste buds were in heaven!🍠🧀🥖🍳🍲

As we journeyed from Jerusalem to the north, we paused at the Baptism Site, a site of immense importance to Christianity. It's where Jesus received his baptism from John and where the Israelites crossed when they fled Egypt. The added bonus? It's also a border with Jordan! 👉https://did.li/eeNlC

Beth Shean, the Roman city, was a mesmerizing stop. We explored the bathhouse and theater from that era, immersing ourselves in history.👉https://did.li/4L0fT

Finally, we reached the Golan Heights, on the border with Syria. The stories of the Six-Day War and Yom Kippur echoed through the landscape, making us appreciate the region's rich history 👉https://did.li/B94w5
I can't express how much I love my job!🥰🥰😎😎🤠🤠

Today, we explore Jaffa, where a must-see awaits: the floating orange tree. Picture a small orange tree, suspended within a massive clay pot. It appears as if it has sprung forth from the urn, symbolizing the growing divide between humanity and nature.

In the ceremony they receive a Torah scroll in one hand and a weapon in the other hand, after the bar mitzvah, we went to CALIBER 3 (link 👉https://did.li/SuMlC) to try shooting, and you can see the videos from there in the next post .

Hello, fellow adventurers🤟🤘
This journey begins atop the iconic Mount of Olives, where we gaze up at the Temple Mount, where Abraham contemplated the sacrifice of his son, Yitzchak.
As we take in the breathtaking views of the "Al Aqsa" mosque and the resplendent Dome of the Rock, a shimmering golden marvel, we embark on a voyage through time.
🤠
Our next stop: the enchanting old city, where the aroma of fresh, piping-hot Jerusalem pretzels beckons. It's an oasis of delight, offering respite from the sweltering summer heat.
Prepare to be astounded as we descend into the ancient tunnels of the Wall. Here, we uncover hidden facets of Jerusalem's history, as layers of time-worn earth yield their long-held secrets.

But that's not all! We've also ventured to a contemporary synagogue graced by a striking new statue. This masterpiece, resembling a majestic pomegranate, bears sacred verses from the Torah, connecting the past with the present.

Good morning, fellow travelers 👋👋

The recent journey was brief but incredibly amazing. Little did I know that as a tour guide, I wouldn't just be showing people around, but also turning dreams into reality. I ended up fulfilling a few of my own dreams too 😎

There was a family consisting of two parents and two young children from the United States. The father hailed from Greece, while the mother had her origins in Armenia. They were both Christians who had just completed a roots journey in Armenia before coming to Israel. The trip to the Holy Land was a dream come true for them and held immense significance.

Their exploration included visits to the Mount of Beatitudes (check it out here: https://did.li/25WNf), Capernaum (link: https://did.li/zrR5q), and an ancient settlement called Magdala, a Jewish settlement, and a fishing village where Mary Magdalene came from, and it is likely that Jesus visited it many times. there is an amazing ancient synagogue with an important find: the sanctuary lamp embossed on a stone on which the Torah book was probably placed in the synagogue. (Link: https://did.li/diprl).
These experiences were just a glimpse of what awaited them in Jerusalem.

How about you❓ Do you nurture dreams of exploring Israel❓ Have any special destinations in mind❓ If you're also eager to embark on a unique Israeli adventure, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. 🤠
