01.කිසිම අවස්තාවක දරුවා මොහොතකට හෝ තනිකර නාවන ස්ථානයෙන් පිට නොවන්න.දරුවා වතුරේ ගිලීමට ඉතා අඩු ජල ප්‍රමානයක් වුවද ප්‍රමානවත්.නෑවීම ඇරඹීමට පෙර සියලුම කලමනා සූදානම් කර ගන්න.ෆෝන් එක රින්ග් වීමක්,ගෙදරට කිසිවෙකු පැමිනීමක් හෝ හදිසි යැයි සිතෙන ඕනෑම අවස්තාවක දරුවා තුවායෙන් ඔතා ඔබත් සමග රැගෙන යන්න.

02.දරුවා බේසමට හෝ ටබ් එකට දැමීමට පෙර ජලය ප්‍රමානවත් උනුසුම් තත්වයෙන් හා නිසි ප්‍රමානයෙන් තිබෙන බව තහවුරු කරගන්න.ඔබගේ වැලමිට පිරුනු බේසමට දැමීමෙන් ජලය දරුවා නෑවීමට තරම් උනුසුම් බව පරීක්ශා කල හැක.

03.ඔබේ දරුවාට ටබ් එකේ වාඩි වී සිටීමට (නැගී නොසිටින්න) උගන්වන්න.

04.ටබ් එකට වැඩිපුර වතුර දමන්න එපා. කුඩා දරුවන්ට සහ වැඩිහිටි දරුවන්ට ඉණට ඉහළින් (වාඩි වී සිටින ස්ථානයට) වඩා වැඩියෙන් ජලය අවශ්‍ය නොවේ.

05.ඔබේ දරුවාට ටැප් එක ස්පර්ශ කිරීමට ඉඩ නොදෙන්න. ඔහුට දැන් එය සෙලවීමට නොහැකි වුවද, අවසානයේ ඔහු එසේ කිරීමට තරම් ශක්තිමත් වනු ඇත - එය බරපතල තුවාල වලට තුඩු දිය හැකිය. (ඔබේ කුඩා දරුවා නළයට පිටුපා නිතරම නෑවිමට උත්සාහ කරන්න).

06.ඔබ නාන කාමරය භාවිතා නොකරන විට නාන කාමරයේ දොර වසා තබන්න.

07.ඔබේ ළදරුවාට වියළි සමක් ඇත්නම්, ඔවුන්ට කෙටි, මද උනුසුම් ස්නාන ලබා දීම වඩා හොඳය.

08.සබන් ඔබේ ළදරුවාගේ සම වියළීමට හැකි නිසා සබන් භාවිතා නොකිරීමට උත්සාහ කරන්න. අවශ්ය නම්, මෘදු සබන් නොවන පිරිසිදුකාරකයක්(baby wash)භාවිතා කරන්න. ස්නානය අවසානයේ ක්ලෙන්සර් භාවිතා කරන්න.
