The third place play-off of Pera Super League 2024 unfolded on the Day 04 (10th March) between the Marrs Stallions and Jennings Warriors.

The University of Peradeniya Cricket team organized a Pirith chanting and alms giving program to have the blessings of the triple gem for the upcoming season 2024. The program was held at the University Cricket Ground Premises.

Congratulating the members Pasindu Dilshan Anushka Iroshan and Heshan Changa of the university cricket team for winning the SLUSA colors for the SLUG XIV Cricket season. We admire your dedication and commitment towards the achievements at the highest level.

The Annual Pera Cricket Night is gonna be on the line on 11th November 2023 at the upper Hanthana Lodge.🤩🥳
The friendly encounter between past cricketers and past cricketers will be at the university cricket ground from 9.00 a.m.🏏🔥

The consolation final match of the 14th SLUG 2023 between University of Peradeniya Vs University of Moratuwa was held at the University of Wayamba Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya batted first and scored 242-9 in 50 overs. Changa Januka scored a brilliant half century for the university of Peradeniya team.
University of Moratuwa managed to chase down the target in 48.3 overs.
University of Moratuwa team won the match by 5 wickets and they have ended in the third place of the tournament.
University of Peradeniya ended the tournament at the 4th place of the 14th SLUG Cricket Championship.

The semi final match of the 14th SLUG 2023 between University of Peradeniya Vs University of Colombo was held at the University of Wayamba Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya batted first and scored only 166-10 in 49.5 overs.
University of Colombo chased the target in 34.3 overs.
University of Colombo team won the match by 7 wickets and qualified for the finals.

The quarter final match of the 14th SLUG 2023 between University of Peradeniya Vs University of Rajarata was held at the University of Wayamba Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya batted first and scored 191-9 in 50 overs. Maleen Pelpola scored a valuable half century for the University of Peradeniya team.
University of Rajarata only managed to score 165 runs in 47.2 overs. A game changing spell from Ishan Laksh*tha with a figure of 4 wickets for 8 runs helped University of Peradeniya team to grab the victory.
University of Peradeniya team won the match by 26 runs and qualified for the semi finals.

The final preliminary match of the 14th SLUG 2023 between University of Peradeniya Vs University of Jayawardenapura was held at the University of Kelaniya Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya batted first and scored only 149-10 in 43.5 overs.
University of Jayawardenapura managed to score 150-5 in 35 overs and chased down the target.
University of Jayawardenapura team won the match by 5 wickets.

The second preliminary match of the 14th SLUG 2023 between University of Peradeniya Vs Gampaha Wickramarachchi University was held at the University of Peradeniya Cricket ground. Gampaha Wickramarachchi University only managed to score 73 runs by losing their all wickets in 24.5 overs. Pasindu Dilshan, Kasun Prasanga and Anushka Iroshan picked 3 wickets each to destroy the opposition batting lineup.
University of Peradeniya chased down the target in 12.2 overs with losing only 2 wickets.
University of Peradeniya team won the match convincingly by 8 wickets.

The first preliminary match of the 14th SLUG 2023 between University of Peradeniya Vs University of Ruhuna was held at the University of Peradeniya Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya scored only 281-6 in their 50 overs despite to the valuable innings from Pasindu Dilshan, Madhawa Wijesinghe and Changa Januka.
University of Ruhuna was only managed to score 130-10 inside 38 overs. Pasindu Dilshan and Kasun Prasanga grabbed 3 wickets each for their wickets tally.
University of Peradeniya team won the match convincingly by 151 runs.

The practise match between University of Peradeniya Vs Zeylanicans Sports Club was held at the University of Peradeniya Cricket ground. Zeylanicans Sports Club scored 198 for all the wickets. University of Peradeniya team was just one run behind the chase and lose the game by 1 run.

The practise match between University of Peradeniya Vs Thunders Youth Sports Club was held at the University of Peradeniya Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya team scored 180/10 in 48.5 overs. Thunders Youth Sports Club only managed to score 80 runs losing all 10 wickets in just 27.2 overs. University of Peradeniya team won the match by 98 runs.

The practise match between University of Peradeniya Vs St. Sylvester's college was held at the University of Peradeniya Cricket ground. St. Sylvester's college scored only 147-10 in 44 overs. University of Peradeniya team chased the target by losing only 5 wickets with 32 balls remaining. University of Peradeniya team won the match by 5 wickets.

The practise match between University of Peradeniya Vs University of Colombo was held at the University of Peradeniya Cricket ground. University of Peradeniya team scored 255-5 in 50 overs. University of Colombo was 98-6 when the rain interrupted the match. University of Peradeniya won the match by 57 runs according to the parabola method.
