Adam Dhilshan has been crowned as the Best Speaker of the Sri Lanka Schools Debating Championship 2023 organized by the Faculty of Law.
The Royal College A Team ranked 1st after an undefeated 6/6 run at the preliminary rounds and ultimately making it to the Semi-Finals.

The Annual Intra School Debate Encounter held on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October at the Royal College White Board Room comes to a close and the Champion of this Encounter has been crowned.
Team Cyanide won the grand finals on a 2-1 split and was crowned the champions. We wish to congratulate the debaters,

Royal College emerged Champions at Confabular 2022 organized by the Debaters' Council of Muslim Ladies College which took place on the 11th of October from 2.30 pm onwards at the MLC Main Hall.

The Royal College Debating Team emerged Runners Up at the Sri Lanka Schools Debating Championship 2022 organised by the Moot Court and Debating Society of the Faculty of Law at the University of Colombo.
The finals were held at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo on the 4th of September against Trinity College, Kandy where the results were determined on a 2-3 split decision.
