DONATION towards treatment for Master Thinuja Liyanage for Bone Marrow Transplant

I have created this page to inform you that my of 2 years, has been recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, at the Maharagama Cancer Hospital in Sri Lanka. The doctors have underwent chemotherapy but in spite of 2 months of treatment at Maharagama Cancer Hospital, there was minor improvement. Dr Mahendra Somathillaka, a Consultant in Paediatric & Adolescent Oncology, instructed there is the need for an immediate Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to recover from the illness. My son will be transferred to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai.

The treatment will be carried out by Dr. Revathi Raj, a Specialist and Consultant Paediatric Haematologist. She has already accepted my son for treatment, but there is a significant cost for the procedure and a 7 week stay in the hospital.

My family would be extremely grateful if we can receive a donation for this cause. The total amount will amount to USD 52,000/- (approx. LKR 9.7 million), and below are the details of the account for your willing contribution:
