The launch of another noteworthy project at Anuradhapura...
With the blessings of the Nayaka Theros of the respective temples, these ready to frame high quality digital color images (approx: 12”*15”) with brief narrations, produced using 4 out of 7 of my pencil drawings of the Atamasthana were put up for sale at Ruwanweliseya, Mirisawetiya, Abhayagiriya and Lankaramaya temples. I am happy to note that at the very onset, great enthusiasm was shown by many locals and foreigners who purchased same. All proceeds from the sale of these images are in aid of the respective temples. If you happen to visit theses sacred sites, you too could contribute to the development of these temples by purchasing same. Please note that this is not a profit making venture.
I also intend to extend this project to the other 3 temples at Anuradhapura as well as to many other places of worship in the island.
