බ්‍රොරෝ ඔයා අද අහගන්නව ලුනු ඇබුල් ඇතුව

ත්‍රස්තවාදයේ විනාශයත්, අහිමි වුණ නිදහසත් අපි අත්විඳ ඇත්තේමු. ඒ පීඩනය රටක් ලෙස උතුර දකුණ වෙනසකින් තොරව රටපුරාම පැතිරි තිබුණි. කෙසේ හෝ සාමය හා ජාතික ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කලයුතු යැයි දැඩිව විශ්වාස කළ යුගයක් අපි පසු කළේ ය.

ඒ නිසා 30 වසරක LTTE ත්‍රස්තවාදය පරාජය කොට සාමය හා ආරක්ෂාව ස්ථාපිත කළේ ය. එසේ ලබාගත් නිදහස වසර 10 ක් ගතවිමට පෙර අපට අහිමි වීම පිළිබඳ මම කණගාටු වෙමි.

එදා පාස්කූ ප්‍රහාරය කිතුණු දහමට විරුද්ධව පමණක් නොව සමස්ත මානව වර්ගයාටම එක්කල කළු පැල්ලමකි.

ලෝකය පුරා අන්තවාදී ත්‍රස්ත ප්‍රහාර පසුගිය කාල පුරාම අසන්නට ලැබිණි. පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල කලේ මුස්ලිම්, දමිළ හෝ සිංහල ජාතියකින් තවත් ජාතියකට නොව, එය අන්තවාදී ත්‍රස්තයන්ගේ ප්‍රහාරයකි. එම ප්‍රහාරයෙන් මියගියේ අපේ රටේ කිතුණුවෝ නොව, ශ්‍රි ලාංකික ආදරණීය මිනිසුන්ය.

අන්තවාදී ප්‍රහාරයකින් මීට වසර හතරකට පෙර මියගිය සහා තුවාල ලැබු සියළු දෙනාම ඉතා ශෝකයෙන් සිහිපත් කරන අතර ඒ සියළු දෙනා සුවපත් වේවා..🙏

Today, we remember the horrific Easter Sunday bombings that took place on April 21st, 2019. The tragic loss of innocent lives still deeply affects us as a nation. It is important to reflect on the reality that those who carried out these heinous acts were terrorists who aimed to sow division and hatred among us, and to strike at the very heart of our country's unity and peace.

We must also not forget that the victims of these attacks were not Sinhalese, Tamils, or Muslims - they were Sri Lankans, our brothers and sisters who were taken from us too soon. They were ordinary people going about their daily lives, innocent worshippers, tourists, and bystanders whose loss has left an irreplaceable void in our society.

As we honour the memory of those we lost and pay tribute to the courage and resilience of our fellow citizens who have carried on in the face of tragedy, we must continue to work together as a united Sri Lanka to build a brighter and more peaceful future for all our people. We should not let the actions of a few tear apart the progress we have made in ending the 30-year-long war and eradicating terrorism from our country.

May they attain supreme bliss of Nibbana 🙏

මත්ඩ්‍රව්ය මෙරටට ආනයනය කරන ප්‍රාදාන මොල කරු පිටිපස ප්‍රධාන පෙලේ මාධ්ය ආයතනයක හිමිකරුවෙක් සිටින බව සහ ඔහුන්ගේ මේම ක්‍රියාවලියට ඇමෙරිකාවේ නිව්යොර්ක් හි වෙසෙන ශ්‍රි ලාන්කාවට නිතර යන එන නිලියක් සම්බන්ද බව අපවෙත තොරතුරු වාර්තා වී ඇත....ඇමේරිකාව තුල ඉතා ප්‍රසිද්ද මත්ඩ්‍රව්යක් වෙන මෙය ශ්‍රි ලන්කාව තුල ප්‍රචලිත වෙමින් පවතී..නමුත් මේ පිලිබදව කතා කිරීමට හො කිසිදු ක්‍රියාමාර්ගයක් ගැනීමට නොහැකි වන්නේ මොහුනට ඇති දේශපාලන බලය නිසාය...
