My fellow technologist for us to compete with our regional counterparts and position Liberia as an emerging market for tech innovation, we will need to graduate from the mindset of using our tech skills to earn quick money and start creating startups that solve real problems affecting the everyday Liberians.

We shouldn't continue to complain about all the infrastructure issues that we lack, but rather it should push us to innovate and address our local problems.

Today I honored an invitation from YMCA of Liberia to serve as the keynote speaker for thier civil engagement with students in commemoration of the International Day of Peace.

My discussion was centered around the impact social media has on communication and how students can mitigate hate speech.

All thanks to the knowledge I gathered during my cohort at the Young Political Leadership School Africa , which enables me to deep deeper into how people use social media to cause violence through misinformation, disinformation, and mal-information.
