YOUR WAITING SEASON, BUT GROWING SEASON

Everyone has told you to trust the process. Some have even told you that it is your waiting season, you don’t have to rush before your crush
You have the will power to make your waiting time to be your wasting time.

When you are in your waiting season, it is wise that you consider it as your growing season: a time to be taught, discipline, rebuked, and a time to see the real you come out of you.

When the pendulum is being shifted to your waiting season, it is not a time to complain, to feel reluctant, or to play your life on luck.

But rather a time to firmly stand, and consider learning new things, building your skills and adding value to that your career/ business.

Your waiting season is a phase of your life that is challenging, but it is the path to learning, unlearning and relearning.

You have to correlate the two, which will propel you into your fruiting season.

The Tough Shots

The purpose of what you are arduously going through is meant to reveal our true identity (the real you), and it helps build your capacity to make positive impact. You should remember, while going through the rough and tough punches of life, you should not groan, but learn and grow through it. When you find yourself in such situation, you need to pray to meet with people with genuine love, avoid toxic friendship influence, limit your secretive conversation, be kind, diligent, respectful and follow peace with everyone you meet.

You may feel that you are alone, but you are not alone for your future is largely influenced by what you do when you are with yourself. Again, you are wrestling with a battle that needs to be battled, but if it remains untouched, your generation is going be affected by it. Along that battle, you need to stand firm, ignore the results and intimidation, fix your eyes on the goal you seek and keep moving even if you win.

You need to understand that all of the fights you have fought and won is for a reason; they are the path to propel you to the next assignment. Don't get it twisted to be complacent. All you need to do is to pay attention and let the process has its full dealings.

As the school year is gearing towards its climaxing phase, it is prudent that we carry on workshop to help reawaken our teachers and administrators zeal, to help them identify their errs and find possible solution to them, meet the academic goals of students, reinforce learning and meet their over all objectives.
As it is often said, "we learn to learn, unlearn, and relearn."

As part of our flagship programs, on April 5, 2024, we had an intensive teacher training session with our facilitators, Mr. Odacious Nah Shain, a certified Liberian Educator, sharing with us an insight of Effective Classroom Management and Miss Elizabeth Tiaklan, an educator as well who also drove us through the topic: Teaching Strategies.

It was great sharing with us your expertises. Drinking from your fountains will help lead the change that we all endeavor.

The lack of True Vision the (picture of the future) hinders your path to success, so you must build strategies; how you are going to convert your mental stage into a substantial stage. As Dr. Mike Oladipo said, “having a clearer vision does not mean it is going to be manifested. What matters is the strategies you build.”

Over the period of time, I have learned that our vision needs to be specific, not general. The same strategy that was used to create the idea will not be the same strategy to form the idea, you have the put of garment of strategic planning to bring the picture into reality.

You need to strategically learn how to pay attention to what matters, which will help push out your vision. In this light, it is prudent that you look into your big vision and take a part that you can start living now while you begin to search for other opportunities, your life is being influenced by the thing you consistently find yourself doing, so find a positive one and start.

Along Journey
Life is full of journey, you connect, reconnect and disconnect at each phase of it. It has a way of shifting from the normal to the abnormal and from the abnormal to the normal. It is a journey that is full of losses and wins, it is either you win, loss, fail, win again, loss again or fail again. I termed it as, “An Arduous Journey. It is a Journey of shots, I mean, rough and tough shots. The shots of life are sharper than the edges of spears. The wound of this journey is unpredictable, but one thing that I am sure of is that, it can be anticipated, because it is journey.
As you go along this journey, remember that regardless the tendency of life’s challenges, you must live as the commander in chief on earth of your own faith and captain your own soul even if we have some mentoring you, that means you must be the orator of your own stories, that person who understands the translated version of his or her stories.
Let’s also remember that while going through the rough and tough punches of life, we should not groan, but learn and grow through it. When we find ourselves in such situation, we need to pray to meet with people with genuine love, avoid toxic friendship influence, limit our secretive conversation, be gentle, diligent, reverential and follow harmony with everyone we meet.
The journey of life is hereditary, don’t short- your journey, you might be leaving another unfinished dot out. If you choose not to connect that dot, remember, we are wrestling with a combat that needs to be combatted, but if it remains unconquered, our generation is going be affected by our untouched battle.
A wise man once said, “Life not in being highly learned and positioned. Life is in the person you bear; the character you rear.

Respond to issue, don't react. Life has a way of pushing us towards pouring out unexpected behavior most especially when we encounter people adversely stir us out. When situation arises, what comes to mind is confliction resolution. I am always at the point of using the polite words that calm every soul no matter our stern the situation may be.

Whenever you react to situation, the result stands to be negative. Reaction triggers strong emotions. That is why Newton's third law simply states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, if Yakpawolo acts a force (the use of unpolite words, explosive, angry, hurtful, and resentful reactions) upon Yakpawola, then Yakpawola will exert an opposite yet equal force upon Yakpawolo.

Some might say it is advisable that you ignore and walk out, which is good, but I figure out that in many instances, when conflict is being ignored, it continues to fester. This is because conflicts involve perceived threats to our well-being and survival; they stay with us until we face and resolve them.

When conflict has been triggered by your opponent, you should respond based on your perceptions of the situation, not necessarily to an objective review of the facts. Most often the two parties to a conflict typically think they’re right (and the other side is wrong) because they quite literally can’t get out of our own heads. Our sense of what would create a fair conflict resolution is biased by self-centered, or the tendency to have difficulty seeing a situation from another person’s perspective.

The Bible said it in Prov. 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

No one is waiting for you

Life is not a competition; it is a race between your yesterday and today to reach your future. That means you are racing your past and your present to reach your future. When you begin to see life in this direction, it gives you courage to keep pushing for the effort of your present can propel you into your future. The past has been tested and tasted; you must be preparing in your present for the Future. I am sure you tasted the roughness of it, and you felt how tough it was in your dangling days. It is either you start racing now, or you get out of the race for no one is and will wait for you, not even your future is waiting. It is you who push you to reach you.

You must have been told that you still have time, I say that time is fleeting, you must rise up, walk and take dominion of your territory. The miles of your journey do not in any give you extra time like temple run. It does not stop the clock from clocking. The quality of your high school days cannot entice you sit in the KG-2, where all you ever remember was taking that lunch full of juice and spaghetti to school smiling.

If you think you are waiting, or escaping battles, remember, as a wise man once said, “what you don’t fight today will confront your children.” So just imagine leaving a whole generational battle untouched. That test that you refuse to write will confront you one day, that project you refuse to implement will surely knock at door. The rain that didn’t fall yesterday will fall tomorrow. It is either confrontation takes place now, or you make it grows gradually in your very own eye.

My college has a standardized Exam called Exit Exam, which has denied many students from being promoted; and most especially at the verge of graduation, if you write the test and fail, that means, you have to wait a year and write it again.
My attention has been drawn to the point in this context, the ability for students to engage the test while in for that semester, gives them the edge over the test then students who are home awaiting the test. Your ability to groom at the earliest time to conquer that fear, makes you a conqueror.

No one is waiting, look around you now, and see whether your closest nursery friend is around you, if you do then yours must have happened in another way or yet to come. As the clock swings its hands after every second, that is how your life should be, make every moment of your life meaningful and fruitful.
