Liberian Made
We are an ethical, eco-friendly brand based in Liberia.
Ellefoodie was born out of passion. The founder’s desire to do more grew as she became aware of her environment, the people, job scarcity, untapped talents, fading cultures, and harmful deposits in our soils that we all contribute to.
She saw a huge opportunity, looking at all of the local talents available in her country Liberia and Africa at large combined with the natural resources and kept thinking of ways to tap into that and find a solution. Why do we import everything? Her daily thought? How can we work together and transform materials we have locally into usable sustainable items?
Now? Ellefoodie works with talented women and men to create beautiful, eco-friendly handcrafted alternatives that are unique and tells a personal story for each of the artisans.
