The Minister of Health, Hon Selibe Mochoboroane has thanked Gavi (The VaccineAlliance), to have made it possible for Lesotho to carry out a successful vaccination campaign of the country's young girls of between 9 nd 14 years age for HPV.
Delivering his remarks on his visit earlier today to Ha Seng in Semonkong, Hon Mochoboroane, pleaded for more support from the Geneva based visiting Gavi Manager, Mr. Thabani Maphosa and other Lesotho government Health partners.
He said, like Ha Seng, the country has a lot of hard to reach areas that need a lot of assistance due to shortage of resources in the country..
Forming part of the minister's delegation to ths remote area included, the European Union ambassador, UNICEF, WHO, and CHAI representatives..
The delegation had earlier been to the Royal Kraal in Matsieng for a courtesy call on Her Majesty.
