In 1982, Danish jeweller Per Enevoldsen and his wife Winnie opened a jewellery shop on the outskirts of Copenhagen. The couple personally visited Thailand several times a year in search of special jewellery for their clients in Denmark. After a few years, in 1987, the store became popular among the locals, so the Enevoldsens decided to create their own jewellery brand. This is how Pandora was born. In 1989, the company decided to start its own jewellery production in Thailand.
