The club was founded in December 2021, accepted by the city council of Bertrange in January 2022 and affiliated with the Luxembourgish Chess Federation (FLDE) on 24 March 2022. The promotion of the
24!! Luxembourg's young chess players are making us proud as they participate in the European Chess Championship (standard, rapid and blitz) taking place in Prague from August 16th to September 1st.
As a club, we are especially proud to see Dario and Nikolai not only represent Luxembourg but also our team.

Four talented young chess players are representing Luxembourg at the EU Chess Championship, which is currently taking place from August 3rd to 10th in Mureck, Austria.
Among these dedicated players, we are especially proud of our very own Dario Macia Tell, who is competing in the U12 category.

Nikolai took the 19th position in Rapid
with 6,5/11 points and the 23rd in Blitz with 6/11

On the January 2024 rating list, all players below 2000 would be given a one-time rating increase of 0 to 400 points. The points added will gradually decrease from 400 (for those rated 1000) to 0 for those rated 2000. The higher the starting rating, the incrementally lower the increase.

A nice journey came to an end for Eymen and Hamza who participated in World Youth Chess Championship in Montesilvano, Italy.
Hamza was the youngest player in the U14 category as he is only 8 years old.
