At today's World Campionship IMCF at Castillo de Belmonte, Luxembourg was fighting against Denmark, China and Spain

Luxembourg won against Denmark and China but lost to Spain 2 who will advance to the Playoffs.

Tomorrow We fight again in Longsword and after that in Sword & Shield.

Sometime also in the 16vs16 in our Alliance with Portugal and Brazil!!!!

Dear Fighters, Marshals, Supporters, Haters!

It is no secret that the IMCF had a rough time these last weeks as the old presidium resigned and rumours began to spread and people were unsure about what was going on, if the IMCF is still going to work, if Belmonte Championship is still going to happen?

Well, I am pleased to announce, that with yesterdays meeting we took a giant leap forward.

The Belmonte World Championship is happening!

There are however going to be a few modifications for Belmonte specifically as the following propositions were being accepted after yesterdays meeting and vote by the Board of Representatives:

- Proposition to have 3 fighters per DUEL category

- Proposition to have 2 teams for 5vs5 / 3vs3 per country

- Proposition to allow 20% mercenaries in 10vs10 & 16vs16, provided the mercenary fighters are qualified and registered for their national teams and part of attending countries

- Proposition to have Championship Bouts (professional fights) as an official category

Result: ACCEPTED!

Yesterday we had our first HEMA training of the season.

HEMA classes happen on Tuesday from 19:00 - 21:00 in the school gym of Saeul, Luxembourg.

HMB classes are on Thursdays, 19:00 - 21:00, same place.

OH!! YEAH!!!!

As you can see, there's quite a bit of supplies being collected :)

Through our municipality of Saeul, Luxembourg, we received a request for help by the polish border town of Horyniec Zdrõj.

They need supplies for the people of Ukraine.

We collect items like the following:

- Medical supplies
- Medications like Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Paracetamol, Desinfectant and more
- First Aid Kits, gloves, compresses, dressings, wipes and more
- blankets, clothes, sleeping bags, and more
- Shampoo, soaps, and more
- Food like canned goods, pasta, rice, and more...

Everything basically that can help those that had to flee their country.

If you want to join, you can bring everything you have to the gym in Saeul on Thursday 3rd March. Exact timeframe will be communicated once it has been decided by the municipality.

If you don't have time on thursday, we can arrange to receive items in Luxembourg city tomorrow and wednesday morning between 9:00 and 11:30 or we can maybe pick it up thursday en route to Saeul, depending on your location.

Dear Friends, Fans and Fighters,
IMCF was founded as a democratic entity based in cooperation, equality, brotherhood and striving to be an international FAMILY for fighters all over the world. That's why it is so hard to stay calm and rational when your bothers and sisters in arms have to face the biggest threat you can ever imagine – threat to lose your country, homes, beloved ones and even own life.

The hateful invasion on Ukraine run by Russians affected all of us really deeply and left us stunned and worried. We all admire Ukrainians' bravery and courage, standing strong against such big and strong enemy, who doesn't care about anything to achieve it's goals and fulfill it's sick ambitions.

At first, most of us couldn't believe that all those horrifying news from Ukraine are true. Although most of us still feel quite helplessness in that situation, we can try to support our friends and their families as much as we can. We can try, we should try, we have to try to do everything to support them.

We know that majority of active fighters joined the Ukrainian army or will do it shortly. As IMCF we will organize fundraising to support them with money, that is what every person can do, no matter the country they live in.
Second, as important as first, is helping to evacuate the families of our brothers and sisters to safe places, finding them temporary homes in neighbour countries. We would like to be a contact point for this, receiving requests from Ukrainians and helping them to organize themselves in the country they want to go to.

Finally, a word to our Ukrainian Brothers and Sisters. Remember we are always behind you, no matter what our governments do. Stay safe, stay strong! We want to see you all in the list as soon as possible and forget about those dark days fast. The forces of evil have to loose. Glory for the Ukraine and it's heroes!

Important update!

Yesterday evening we had the opportunity to fight on ice after the match of Beaufort Knights vs Mechelen Whales.

We're so excited to welcome Knights hockey back to the Ice Park Beaufort tomorrow at 19:30. Along with the performance by the Knights of Luxembourg we'll also see a return of the ceremonial puck drop. This time we're excited to announce the presence of Luxembourg International Judo champion Anettka Mosr.

We not only beat our people up during training to strengthen them for tournaments, we also hunt them with zombies ^^
