Welcome here in this office, where it all started in our HQ in Valence. This is where Louis-Paul Guitay, the founder, created the company back in 1986 and this is where he started developing prototypes of Cellu M6®, our flagship product. Initially he was involved in a car crash, and he was injured. He was treated by a physio and he found out that the hand massage was not steady over time, and he thought about ways to improve it through the machine. When he introduced the machine to the medical market, he had moderate success, but a doctor told him that he had inadvertently found a way to cure Cellulite and that was going to make his fortune. And this is what happened. The company started to export its equipment to the US and to Japan in the early 90s, only a few years after the company was created. I have in my office the very first generation of machine, which was sold back in 1986. Innovation has been at the very heart of everything we do at LPG® and we are now selling the 10th generation of Cellu M6®, our flagship product. The company grew and last year realized €95 million turnover. We have now 450 people working at LPG® and we have around 28,000 professionals equipped across the world in 100 countries. We estimate that about 80,000 people are treated every day with our solutions. Innovation is at the very heart of everything we do. We have invested €35 million turnover in R&D over the past 10 years and we are now selling the 10th generation of Cellu M6®, our flagship product. Everything is patented, and our both our safety and effectiveness are proven by 165 clinical surveys.
