💥 Make sure to remove all sutures when you’re done practicing, to prevent any tears on your pad.
💦 Get any towel or tissue with a bit of water or alcohol and clean out any dirt. (Scotch Tape can also help to remove the little pieces of dirt that won’t go away 😉)
🤩 Now, your suture pad is good as new!

Going 🔙 to the basics 😉 Are you holding your needle driver correctly?
Your needle holder is not a pair of scissors 🙅🏻♂️ Your thumb and ring finger should be placed inside the holes and your index finger should be used to stabilize it when suturing. Always make sure you lock your needle holder whenever a suture is placed to keep it from falling out. 😷

Make sure to hold your forceps like a pencil (and not like tweezers 😅). This allows better fine motor control and easier manipulation of tissue. ✍🏼

Place your thumb and ring finger inside the holes and stabilize with your index finger. Load the needle near the jaws, about two-thirds away from the point! The motion of your suturing should be smooth, following the curve of your needle. 👍🏼
