This year's most festive Social Week is coming up: Sustainable Festive Week!

Between 4 and 8 December, WTC Amsterdam will be all about sustainability and togetherness. From the heart-warming Giving Tree initiative, where we make children at Pluryn happy with Christmas gifts, to a pop-up restaurant in collaboration with Warmoes and Dynamo, to provide a wonderful evening for vulnerable elderly people.

It's time to introduce you to Thomas, our back-office servicepoint employee. 🙋‍♂️ He enjoys helping our tenants in a way that makes their visit to our building enjoyable, and that they appreciate spending time in our building.

According to Thomas, WTC Amsterdam feels like a village in itself. “All essential and daily services are at your fingertips in one of our towers. We strive to make our tenants' lives as easy as possible.” He values not only phone or email contact with our tenants but also face-to-face conversations to build relationships and solve problems together.

Last year, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) control room underwent a complete transformation to ensure the safety of our tenants, employees, and visitors. The result? A state-of-the-art control room where our security team guarantees a safe and efficient working environment 24/7.

Hendrik-Jan, Key Accountant and Project Manager at EAL, our Security Management partner, who has been providing security at WTC Amsterdam for two years, told us more about these improvements.

👋 Meet Tim Elligens, Service Desk employee at CBRE in WTC Amsterdam! Tim is ready to assist all tenants with breakdowns, complaints and service requests.

What makes working at WTC Amsterdam extra special for Tim? Well, he’s no stranger to our WTC community! Tim first worked in the security team for 2.5 years before switching to the service point (front office), where he worked for another 2.5 years. And now, since April 2023, we are delighted to welcome him back to our service point (back office) team! "It feels like coming home to me!" says Tim.

The Zuidas Today Talkshow starts a new season today at the Vebego studio in Tower Ten!

During the Socialclub's 'Back to Work' week, the director of Projekt 100% MENSCH will be flying in from Germany to give an exclusive presentation about this exhibition. This presentation will take place on September 12th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the central hall of towers H/I. Will you be there? A special LGBTQ+-themed mocktail will be served to everyone, and admission is free! 🏳️‍🌈

The exhibition can be admired until Thursday, September 21st.

This is Thomas van Dijk, technical manager at .amsterdam! 👋

Thomas has been working at WTC Amsterdam for the past two months, where he is responsible for all technical matters in the impressive H and I towers, also known as WTCZ. Every day, he enjoys the dynamism and challenges this complex building brings.

Why is working in this building so special for Thomas? 🤔 "The technical complexity of the building makes the work challenging, but what also makes it so much fun is the constant hustle and bustle in and around our office on the second floor, above WTCafé De Blauwe Engel at Zuidplein."
